Screw the "wait and see" crap. If it's bad now, it's bad NOW. Regardless whether it gets better, why should anyone have to put up with crap like this to get there? Good shows are consistently good. They also don't crap on their fan base and deliver constant cop outs. Couldn't have said it better. A lot of people are going to be disappointed when Bryan doesn't win the title at Wrestlemania. But I guess some of those same people will predict it happens at next year's Summerslam instead! Wait and see!!

When Bryan beat Cena, there was a ton of talk of an Austin push. It wasn't that. Other talk was that it was a Foley vs Rock push. It's less than that too. This is just an acknowledgment that the crowd loves Bryan. We got to see him in the main event for a couple months, and his depush will be coming soon I fear.

It just feels like we're waiting for a day that's never going to come. Unless the day you're waiting for is Cena coming to the rescue.

I keep telling you guys. The WWE writers are probably the same guys who write comedy sketches for SNL. They may have a solid premise, but they never got an ending for it.

It's hard to be too optimistic, given how most of WWE's big storylines have gone in recent years. And really, most people were cautiously optimistic about this angle, or at least enjoying it as it started. It's just reached the point where largely people have given up on it, if only because while it might lead to some good moments down the line but for the moment, it's not delivering.

But you really don't have to in order to realise that a finish to a paid show like this is complete bullshit. Especially after how they handled the end of the last one.

I already posted this in the Battleground thread, but I'll put here too. This is an idea I posted on Facebook for the WWE to salvage the booking after tonight's debacle: This entire angle seems to be a replay of Austin's chase for the belt in the Fall of 1998. If they want to salvage this, the most logical choice is for Triple H to say that Daniel Bryan blew his chance at the title, and order a tournament for the title at Hell In A Cell, and make Bryan go through a long process just to get a spot in the tournament. When Bryan gets in, Triple H makes it even more difficult for Bryan to advance, but he does it despite the odds. The semi-finals should consist of Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and The Big Show. The Big Show should actually lay down for Daniel Bryan in the semi-finals, and Orton can go over Rhodes with no harm to Cody's new push; the finals are inside the Cell. Orton wins the match through some convoluted means, only for the deus ex machina, the return of Vince, who says he isn't going to make the same mistakes he did 15 years ago, restarts the match and Bryan finally beats Orton clean, with Vince realizing that Daniel Bryan proved to him that he had what it took be the face of the company. I just gave the WWE their way out, but nothing close to this will actually happen. It is a sad time to be a WWE fan. Your analogy would work, if Austin won it twice, for less than a day each time. Also when Bryan finally wins it again, the moment will be ruined, as everyone will just expect Triple H to take it away from him...again...for a 3rd time.

That just seems like punishing yourself. No, punishing myself would be to continually believe that WWE was going to do the right thing after their checkered history over the last few years of doing the exact opposite. I'll find other aspects of the show enjoyable, much like WCW. I hated most of their main events, but watched for the cruiserweights and such. WWE still has a good thing going with the Shield, Cody Rhodes and Hey-Ry. If those puddles dry up, I'll stop watching until another downpour. It's as simple as that.

When Bryan gets the belt, it will probably be a 5-6 month reign at most. Why do we have to swim through a 3 month wide ocean of bullshit to have that reign?

They also don't crap on their fan base and deliver constant cop outs. This this this. I just had the thought about "wait and see" after seeing Road Dogg tell the fans to chill and watch the story unfold on Twitter (which btw, great work on telling a story yourself, since an Armstrong got fired). Has anything good ever come out of "wait and see"? All the times I can think of, from the Guest Hosts to Christian's two day reign to Nash, I waited for something good and saw endless crap. With the exception of Christian's reign, which at the very least provided some good matches. I noticed too how no one "wait and see"'d the Rhodes story, because it was apparent from the get go that that was a rare can't screw up story for the 'E. Yet it's been "Chill, be more optimistic" from the first time Triple H told Bryan to gather what little guts he had to get RKOed by Orton. I don't want the end to come on a Raw so it's not like I'm not willing to wait, but why should I be forced to see nothing but shit until I get there?

I figure when D-Bry gets the belt, which will be almost December, he'll hold it until the Rumble at the end of January to Orton so that they can have the "dream match" of Orton/Cena and Cena can "save the day". That is unless they have Vacant hold the title until the Rumble, which would be just awful.

Forget D-Bry & Orton...
We're gonna get a Championship Tournament & Cody Rhodes is going to "sell out", turn on his family, and win the title.

This, it's so friggin' obvious we're getting Deadly Games 2 at Survivor Series with Cody in the Rock's roll. Especially with the teasing of Orton falling out of the regime's favor.

It is a shame because they were RED HOT going into Summer Slame and have done a terrific job of whittling away my excitement for RAW/SD over the past two PPVs.
Cody - amazing match at Summer Slam during a very entertaining feud with Sandow. Now? Family/corporate drama that is a bit silly to me. Daniel Bryan - still very over with the crowd but in one of the most ridiculous WWE Title feuds in recent memory. I can assure that "NOW with added Big Show & Brie Bella!" isn't doing it any favors. Ziggler - again, really building momentum, his WHC was a blink, but his AJ feud made for some great promo wars and matches with Big E. Punk - Punk/Lesnar was a great build. Now they've just been dragging the corpse that is the Heyman/Punk feud out and dry humping it twice a week for the past two months for no reason. "Who can we make a Heyman guy this week to fight Punk at the PPV?"
This isn't anything they can't bounce back from obviously, but its really mediocre right now and if this is the result of 2 months of "wait and see" .....ugh.
