It's gonna be Cena vs Orton vs Punk at WM30 in a title unification match. Bryan's facing 'H.

Possibly as the main event of Survivor Series as a slight diversion from the title picture while Orton defends against a one-off filler opponent like Miz or Cody or even Punk (as long as his involvement is kept solely confined to the title without excessively confronting HHH and Steph)

I can see Cena-ADR being the main event at Hell in a Cell for the sole purpose of sending the fans and PPV buyers home "happy," with Cena winning, of course.
This would allow Bryan vs. Orton to end indecisively, again, leading to Survivor Series: Deadly Game II

Supposedly, WWE played up Cena's injury worse than it really was

With the twist of Big Show being Austin, Orton being Mankind, and DB being sell out heel champ.

It most likely is as previously mentioned in this thread, that Cena's injury was played up to be worse than it actually was. I'm fairly sure that he will be fit and ready to go already and it was only something quite minor. That doesn't discount from the fact that the guy should consider taking at least 6 months off in the near future.

World Heavyweight Champ or not, there's no way they can have Cena back on TV and not involved in the Corporation storyline - it's jarring enough that Punk hasn't been involved but he's had his own storyline to distract him. When the Big Boy Scout returns then some nothingness with Del Rio wouldn't be able to keep him out of the main storyline. We know that whatever happens he will never turn heel, so that puts him AGAIN up against Triple H and Orton (and possibly Big Show, depending on how they play that out).
The question then becomes: is he the support for Bryan, or does Cena become the main man on the face side?
On the upside this early return probably rules out him winning the Rumble and headlining WrestleMania against Triple H over the title as I'd previously predicted.

I think they're sending him after the World Title TO keep him out of it while still having his presence as a draw. John Cena is John Cena and the little jimmies will cheer for him no matter what. So random feuds with the belt that no one cares about anyway is a good role for him. It'll probably be better for Cena's health as well, since the pressure of main eventing will be taken off of him and he won't have to go as hard.

I just love the fact that the WWE couldn't even go a couple of months without hitting the panic button and bringing Cena back. Someone backstage must have seen the numbers for Battleground and decided that something was wrong.

Just to get you guys used to it. Incidentally, this will be, should this actually happen, Cena's 14th World Title...2 away from Ric Flair's recognized 16.

If they don't do a unification, they could alternatively have Cena keep the belt forever. The World Heavyweight Championship would allow Cena to remain relatively high on the card (although he would be anyway because he's John Cena) without taking the spotlight away from Bryan or the WWE Title. He would essentially be in that marquee gatekeeper role that I've always been suggesting. And since no one really cares about the World Title anyway, "Spoiler: Cena Wins" doesn't really matter. All they have to do is book their pet project heels to look good in a feud with Cena, and it will make them look credible for the WWE Title scene. Cena would ultimately retain the belt so as to keep the title "out of the way". He and the World Title would keep each other in a bubble, and Cena could lay low off of TV while he recovers from his injury, only showing up on PPVs to defend the title against token opponents every month while everyone else is focusing on the WWE and Tag Titles. Fixed because nobody cares who beats curtis axel

Looks like that revolution you guys got excited for is not happening. Face it guys, until those people in the audience stop having such low standards for wrestling, WWE just needs to have popular stars appear so they have reason to watch. It is the same as kids that marked for such bouts like Hulk Hogan versus Andre the Giant that were terrible in retrospect, but looking back is not enough because the company made enough money from how naive they were. Soon the kids cheering John Cena and jeering all things wrassling will realize too late how the WWE toyed with them and gave them a mediocre product since they could not protest. Fans aren't naive or stupid for popping more for Hogan, Andre, and/or Cena than any of your favorites. What IS sad is that WWE is so crap at building new stars (even if they're stars who smarks decry as horrible talentless muscleheads who don't deserve to be stars) that they have to keep racing back the same guys while they become increasingly crippled. hey it worked for All Japan

This is what happens when there is no competition. If the WWE had legitimate competition they would be forced to build up new stars, better storylines, and create a product that is exciting and unpredictable. But because if they have no competition they've been regulated to the status quo, then when ratings aren't reflecting change, the panic button is pushed and they rush someone like Cena back into the picture.
You'd think with Hunter getting more power he'd say "Vince, let's not push the panic button. Let's see where this goes."

maybe it's a one time thing because RVD decided not to stick around? Cena returns, beats del rio, del rio does the armbreaker in a chair thing after the match. Sandow comes down and cashes in on Cena instead of del Rio. Cena's out of action til a mere mortal's recovery time is done.
after all they didn;t get to use the "someone injured <already injured superstar> and he'll be out for <X> weeks!" traditional injury routine for cena's injury so may as well trot it out now. i'm sure cena being cena when asked would agree to do a mini one match return then go back to healing til the Rumble or something.
edit: and having not gone past page 1 before typing this- i see nhsjericho had the same idea on page 2

Normally I'd find it tiresome that the company has hit the panic button and brought him back early
But on the upside, it means Alboreto is going to lose, and I hope it's the last time he ever holds a world title.
