Lets just say this past Monday when I tried my hardest to stay awake for Raw I dozed off after Bryan put Shawn in the Yes Lock, I wake up after commercial and see The Wyatts attacking Bryan then it goes to Los Matadores and I fall back asleep.

The live crowds love the gimmick. Hell, I wanna see them star in a cheesy 70's style buddy comedy on WWE Network. The Oles are piped in. Or so I've heard so far. It probably will catch on, though. Most pavlovian chants usually do. Outside of CLB of course.

I don't think they're over at all. In a few weeks I imagine they'll be getting boo's in a few cities, alongside some mild polite cheers.

I only care about the bull. Rey Mysterio is held together by paper clips and chewed bubble gum(coincidentally the very same gum Roddy Piper ran out of in They Live. In other words, 25 year old gum) and Sin Cara is Sin Cara, so they should push El Torito as the new top luchador. Primo and Epico can go back to being heels.

Then again, I'm pretty sure they're not meant to be all that over - they're this year's Brodus Clay; a filler comedy act meant to kill time. WWE knows how to get people over or at least how to give people a proper opportunity. Los Matadores is not really that.

Brodus Clay DID get over with the Funkasaurus gimmick. But as others have said this act seems to be more about El Torito. Primo and Epico are just there because the heels have to wrestle someone.

I used to hear this about Clay all the time last year but he wasn't that over. He got big reactions once in a while, but week to week, his pops weren't that impressive. Better than what Los Matadores are getting. Not that it's much to be proud of.

They are fine. Low/mid card comedy filler. All they need to be.

It's awful all the way around. The entrance is stupid. The gimmick is stupid and awful (we all know the history of brutality of bullfighters). The announcers trying to get them and the midget over is awful. Their move set throughout the match is bad. And their finisher...wow their finisher...it's just beyond terrible.

I think the double Angle Slam is a great finisher and I love their moveset. High impact, low risk. Their alternate finisher also has good impact, one of the best aided face slams I've seen, lots of teams try moves like that and they end up looking awkward

Torito is awesome. Primo and Epico clearly don't give a shit and don't care about their gimmick so neither do I. That's a big part of it too. Guys like Fandango, Kane, Goldust, etc, put their all into their gimmicks and gave their characters distinct mannerisims and quirks. These guys don't have that. They still wrestle and have the body language of "Primo and Epico: Guys Still Employed Because Their Valet Gives Michael Hayes Head" and it shows since as that, they never had distinct characteristics or quirks. It's just Primo and Epico in crappy mask, they haven't really "become" their roles so to speak. You just gave me horrible, HORRIBLE images!!!

They pretty much have to be don't they?
I mean it would be pretty f***ed up if 2 wrestling bullfighters and a midget in a furry costume were GOOD in 2013.

People say that Los Matadores only exist to beat up 3MB.
Why can't 3MB beat up Los Matadores, maybe Jinder plays a stereotypical bull-fighting tune with his flute.

They are meant to be stupid. It's a fallacy that people think that every wrestler or team needs to be title material. They don't. The card has to be structured from top to bottom. For every Demolition, you need a Bushwhackers. For every Legion of Doom, you need a High Energy

So the argument some of you are saying is, "Sure they suck, but it's okay, because if they didn't suck, they'd be in danger of breaking out of the lower-card role they've been pegged into."
If you find yourself thinking this sort of thing, the WWE has officially broken your mind.

If you find yourself thinking this sort of thing, the WWE has officially broken your mind. It's more a case that if they catch on, they could move slightly higher up the card, but if they remain as a filler comedy act, that's OK, because that's all they were intended to be.

Point is, it's just a stupid gimmick. lol calling it a double angle slam. That's an insult to the angle slam. They just pick the dude up and lightly drop him. No added force from them at all. It looks woefully unimpressive. And high impact move set? Really? Yeah. I'll remember that the next time they do one of their monkey flips, "wild" flying forearm shots or weak looking middle rope chops.
