Also, I didn't mention this in the OP, but from everything I've heard about Corgan he's a lot more hands on than people might think or at least he is with Resistance Pro. I did an in-depth interview with Jocephus Brody who is Resistance Pro's top heel a while back. Brody mentioned he talks to Corgan about every show though sometimes it is by phone or e-mail. He also said Corgan was very approachable.

As long as he doesn't go and wrestle everyone's matches for them, should be fine...

I hope so.
I like Corgan, he's very passionate about wrestling and I can see him possibly turning things around. However, I'm curious what his net worth is, the last thing I'd want is for him to lose all his money on a sinking vessel.
That said, I hope they bring back the steel asylum and he plays Bullet with Butterfly Wings as the match is going on.

This would be the one thing that would get me watching TNA. I'm a massive Pumpkins fan, and it'd be great to see. Corgan's a life-long wrestling fan, so this isn't some half hearted gesture, assuming the rumours are true.

Another thought I had. If Corgan does purchase TNA I wonder if any Resistance Pro guys will get a shot with the company? The standout performer has to be their champion, Robert Anthony, but there is plenty more than just him. In particular I'm thinking of Jocephus Brody and Lock Up. Brody has a great look and those unfamiliar with him might have already guessed, he looks a lot like Bruiser Brody, hence the name. Lock Up consist of Sugar Dunkerton and Aaron Epic, who also wrestle all over the indies. Their gimmick in Resistance Pro is that they are inmates wrestling for their freedom, which is wicked silly, but both guys are good workers.

Corgan would go from running an indie brand in Chicago to owning the #2 wrestling company in America. Not only that, he would have to make it turn a profit.
People here are saying Resistance Pro has some good talent. But how is the company run? How is creative?

He'd have to be a moron, that's a massive undertaking. Certainly way more involved than running a small indy. I doubt that he could even come up with the capital.

Corgan would go from running an indie brand in Chicago to owning the #2 wrestling company in America. Not only that, he would have to make it turn a profit. People here are saying Resistance Pro has some good talent. But how is the company run? How is creative? What adds to the indie size of Resistance Pro is that the company isn't even actually run out of Chicago. Instead most shows take place in small venues in the surrounding towns. I can't recall how many venues they've actually worked, but a lot of shows are run out of small, dark location in Merrionette Park. I have no idea how profitable Resistance Pro is really. Perhaps the only reason they run out of such a venue is to keep cost down and they're doing well, but again I don't really know. As for creative, there have definitely been some issues in the past. For instance, Jocephus Brody who I've already mentioned a few times should have been booked like a monster from day 1. Heck, even if he wasn't in the main event just have him destroy midcarders. Instead on any early episode of Resistance Pro he jobbed to Sugar Dunkerton in a tag match. Nothing against Sugar, but it's not like he was built up as a giant killer. Aside from that another thing that hurt the company is when their original champion, Harry Smith left the company while still holding the belt and just sort of waved it off saying he was, "too busy." However, things have been looking up for Resistance Pro as of late. Brody is being pushed as a monster, they have a solid champion and are relying less on bringing in name guys (shows in the past have featured people like Vader, Raven, etc.). They also put some emphasis on women's wrestling, which never hurts in making a company as well rounded as it can be.

Hope it's true. Probably the only chance of Raven being back on TV or even a backstage role in wrestling.

Sung to "Here is No Why" off of MCIS.
the useless drag of TNA the endless drags of a scorpion death lock mascara sure and lipstick lost glitter burned by restless thoughts of knockouts and in your Orlando stage you'll forever stay desperate and displeased- with whoever you are and you're a "star" somewhere AJ pulls his hair down over a frowning smile a hidden diamond you cannot find Dozens of former stars that cannot shine over to you may the king of gloom, be forever doomed and in your Orlando stage you'll forever stay burning up in speed lost inside the dreams, of TNA fiends
the useless drags, the empty days the lonely towers of long mistakes to forgotten faces and faded loves watching TNA was never enough and if you're buying in, then you're giving up cause in your Orlando stage you'll forever stay burning up in speed lost inside the dreams, of TNA fiends
