Ive gone to every Resistance show, and its run really well, and really really good turn outs, they seem to make good profit at the shows. Raven is an agent for the company so with corgan and raven doing stuff with creative its pretty good. the crowds are always into the show's and robert anthony is a damn good talent so hopefully he would get a shot. i say he should go for it and buy tna, it would be really interesting to see how he would run a national company.

I don't know how Resistance Pro is doing, but I've never heard anything bad about them. I'll take Corgan. Can't be any worse than what we have now.

So you're saying that Corgan buying TNA might mean Raven as head booker?
That could turn out to be awesome.

TNA's new slogan: Today is the greatest... day in the history of our sport. The biggest news since the shakedown in 1979 A Rellik in me is a Rellik in you.

If by the off chance that Corgan does end up buy TNA... Well I'm sure he regret doing soon after when the guy realizes what a finical sinkhole the promotion is.

Here's a question: Is Corgan seriously going to be the sole owner here, or is he fronting a group a la Bischoff 2001? I don't have a problem with it as long as he keeps himself off TV. If he just uses TNA as a vehicle to put himself over as a babyface owner, what's the point?

If he just uses TNA as a vehicle to put himself over as a babyface owner, what's the point? Well, Corgan hasn't really used Resistance Pro to put himself over and instead just focuses on the talent. As for whether it is a group buying it or just him, I would think it would be a group, but that is just pure speculation.

Hopefully, with Corgan as the owner, there won't be any money Ode to No One.

I posted this in the Meltzer/sale thread, but I don't know how I feel about this. And this is coming from probably the biggest Pumpkins/Corgan fan on the planet. R-Pro has a few good hands, I won't deny that. But some of the stuff is really weird. A guy dressed as Jesus ran into a main event, got choke slammed, and then was never heard from again.
They draw decently. They run a lot of high schools and random halls. Their bigger shows are done at a place called 115 Bourbon Street in Marionette Park. It's a bigger concert hall venue with a pretty nice set up. I've been many times for AAW. Far from a dark hole in the wall type place. Initially they ran a lot of clubs Shotgun Saturday Night style which had a good look, but the fans didn't care for too much.
My biggest concern is money. I mean compared to most here, Corgan is Oprah Rich. But to bankroll a bigger company like TNA has become? I don't know...

As someone who isn't a Smashing Pumpkins fan, I don't understand about 90 percent of this thread. Can't we get "Weird Al" Yankovic interested in buying TNA?
