If true, he will be popular at first, then will be called an idiot. Same episode, different actors. Welcome to Internet wrestling Oh he's going to be called an idiot from day one because he made his money outside of wrestling and he's not investing in the WWE. Being a fan of wrestling and friends with the ECW guys who did a lot of the work involved in running the company like Lou E and Tommy Dreamer isn't going to save him from being called a money mark.

Except he's successfully run an independent wrestling promotion for around two years now. He's not really a money mark when he's already been properly involved in the business and hasn't been doing so in a "look at me, I have money and big stars!" manner.

I'm not saying he is a moneymark, I just don't think it'll stop people calling him one should he buy TNA.

Hoping this means good things for Jay Bradley. Who is that in your avatar? Lmao off topic but her name is Andrea Boehlke she's from Survivor and she's kind of the love of my life. She's not on the current season but this picture of her as been my avatar for so long now I just stick with it. For a picture here's the full size of the one in my avatar Google for more I guess don't want to crowd the thread with off topic chatter too much ahaha. Hoping this means good things for Jay Bradley. If Billy Corgan can make Jay Bradley interesting he's a genius, because Bradley is lame as all hell in TNA. Probably, though I haven't seen much of his TNA run first hand. I just know I've been a mark for the guy ever since his little WWE run just because I've always felt he at the very least had a cool look, and I think he has a lot of potential that I'd like to see capitalized on by someone.

If that means Robert Anthony in TNA (whether as himself or Ego Fantastico) or Lock Up in TNA I'm all for it.

What he'll most likely do is go find a bigger money mark to finance it.

I'm still not quite sure that I think that this will happen, but in the event that it does, remember that just because it's someone new doesn't mean it's going to be any good. Running a promotion like TNA is vastly different than running a small indy a few times a month or however often. Writing weekly episodic television wrestling is no easy task. If Corgan buys it I hope that he does well and TNA starts making some gains but it's by no means guaranteed to happen.

Fatal 4 Way 90s One Hit Wonder Band of Doom Match Candlebox vs Harvey Danger vs Primitive Radio Gods vs Semisonic Winner gets BUSH at Bound for Glory inside the Lockdown cage. Meanwhile, Pearl Jam faces off against Collective Soul in a Jeremy On A Pole Match (in this case, Borash).

I don't know exactly what they do but they used to help book AAW. Hell the whole reason Resistance Pro started was because Corgan wanted to help with AAW and the owners weren't interested

Here's to hoping he gives the fans what they want.
Hint: not swerves.

That's one thing that Corgan has working in his favor, should any of this even prove true, much less seen to fruition: Billy is a perfectionist to the Nth degree. If he's going into this, he's serious about it and he has a plan.

He sure would make the company GLOW. He's going to turn TNA into an all female promotion?

From JR's most recent blog: While I'm sure others don't know what they're talking about, I'm positive JR doesn't either. Other people who are Billy's friends are saying very different things and I'd be flabbergasted if JR was the only one in the know. He needs to stop trying to keep himself relevant and just settle down to his BBQ sauce business.
