I don't know why but I was a big Rodney Mack mark. His matches were always entertaining to me and the Teddy Long stable seemed to work. Never understood why it never worked out.

Probably not my favorite, but the first person I thought of was Lanny Poffo. There was nothing wrong with the Genius gimmick and he pulled it off very well. He should have had more success after Mr Perfect.

Derrick Batemen.
The guy looked like a star, carried himself like a star, and was pretty damn charismatic. I was shocked when they released him before he even got to sniff the main roster.

Big Bully Busick. I always thought that the dude had a really cool look and they could have done something with him.

Jamie Noble. He had a great run of matches on Smackdown and Velocity about a decade ago.

Sean O'Haire. Guy had the look, the ready made gimmick, and the right age to potentially make it big, but it just didn't happen.

Dean Malenko, for sure. The man was absolutely brilliant in the ring, and I was super into him even as a kid. I completely and totally understand why he never made it big, don't get me wrong, but it still bums me out.

I think had Scorpio debuted a year later, he could've been in the midcard mix with Rock, Shamrock, HHH and Owen for much of 1998.

Ludwig Borga. I was sure this guy would beat the shit out of Lex Luger to become WWF champion. It turns out that I was totally wrong.
