Joey Mercury. When he was with MNM he incorporated a litany of small, subtle things to enhance the promos, segments or matches he was in. Good at selling, had a varied offense and worked well with everyone. I'm glad WWE recognized his considerable talent and brought him in as a trainer, because there's only a few guys on the entire roster who have a grasp of the fundamentals like he does. Quoting you because this is pretty much exactly what I came in here to say! (Although, Mercury's actually my favourite wrestler overall, which I know is probably kinda weird, but I don't care~.) Not weird at all. He's one of my very favorites too. A wrestler who's all about the steak and less about the sizzle isn't usually a popular choice, but one that a few people are always going to look to. I used to be way more of a Nitro/Morrison fan but Mercury (as well as Melina, who if not for her relative success compared to other divas, I'd mention here) did so much more in their matches to really contribute.

I would say Morrison if he counts. Him, Punk and Hardy carried Smackdown.
Right now, I think that Heat Slater is incredibly talented, but will never make it far."

Could I add another? Rhyno. He could have been used more in his later years and kept longer. He should have been built as a unstoppable monster heel, building up the Gore, hell make him a hired gun. Slowly getting to a full time main event position and champion, with the guy knocking him off being put over huge because of it. I could have imagined him going against Cena, Batista, Rey, Hardy etc etc and any other major faces. Like Umaga was, a monster that all top face guys were scared of, and was unstoppable. Kizarny, no matter how terrible he was He wasn't around long was he? Did he get even less of a chance than Cabana did? I remember one tv match and that is it...

Raven in WWE would be number one on the list for me. Incredible talent, and got in the best shape of his life while in WWE. He tried changing up his look, coming up with his own angles, tried everything but it was all for not.
One other thing. He was heavy, HEAVY, into drugs during his ECW and WCW runs. The man came into WWE with a known drug problem and JR at first gave him a $75,000 downside, and he got a raise the next year as he was promised. He got out of drugs and cleaned himself up before coming to WWE, so he was at the top of his game when WWE had him. He still ended up keeping a lot of that in TNA pretty much up until his noted thyroid problems and weight gain, and was able to become the World Champion before his career started to go downhill.

He was there more longer than just a match, I remember he was in a battle royale and a segment with Vickie. But yeah, I really wanted him to be more bigger. Would of been an amazing heel.

Al Snow, I always thought Al looked awesome and the Head gimmick was pretty entertaining, I guess they couldn't push him too hard as a nut case as it would have gotten too close to Mankind but I always liked Al, then of course... there's Head Cheese. Definitely one of the best odd couple tag teams in ever.

Percy Watson. Titus O'Neal made it. Darren Young made it. Percy was way more over than those two guys in NXT, but he's gone now.

Chris Masters - It didn't matter who he was facing, you could tell he was trying his ass off. He didn't half-ass it, and should have been around longer.
Vladimir Kozlov - The WWE waited way too long to turn him face. The guy was getting face pops on ECW, especially when he came out smiling and waving to the crowd. He should have broken away from the Ruthless Roundtable sooner. The guy had the look, was a decent wrestler, and had comedic timing. But he was also hurt by WWE pushing him as hard as they did when he debut.
Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

I'd always heard that he was into drugs in his initial WWF run (as Johnny Polo), and that his release had something to do with trying to get Shane involved with that.

Shelton Benjamin. Remember when he pinned Triple H in two consecutive weeks? I marked out for that.
