Raw Audience Drops to Lowest in 2013

- Monday’s episode of WWE RAW averaged 3.541 million viewers, down from the previous week’s 4.135 million viewers. The first hour drew 3.616 million viewers, the second hour dropped to 3.560 million viewers and once again the third hour dropped to 3.447 million viewers. The final rating will be out later.

Bryan and Punk killed people's interest. If they hadn't stunk up the show, Cena/Orton (and a contract signing!) would have drawn mega ratings.

It was a really good show too. I have to admit i watched it on tivo as i couldnt miss a game between the Saints and Seahawks the Seahawks who look like the team that will lose to the Chiefs in the superbowl. Football is the only thing i would ever miss Raw for and sadly its on at the same time. Though i havent had a nielson box in years i am sure others who do feel the same as me.

There's no good way to put this - The NFL wrecked Raw this week in the ratings.

The New Orleans Saints facing off with the Seattle Seahawks dominated the Monday ratings, pulling in an audience of 15,500,000 viewers.

In comparison, Raw drew an audience of 3,541,000 overall, the lowest audience for WWE's flagship series since Christmas Eve 2012. We'd have to go all the way back to October 1, 2012 to find a non-holiday edition of Raw that had such a small audience. Needless to say, WWE isn't happy.

Even worse, WWE lost their audience over the course of the night, starting out with 3,616,000 viewers in hour one, falling to 3,560,000 in the 9 PM hour and then finally to 3,447,000 viewers in the final hour.

Cena vs. Orton is drawing huge!

Me, personally I skipped the show, though it was mostly on the basis of being exhausted. Though even before I was basically in the midst of falling asleep I wasn't decided on if I was going to watch it.

On the scale of Raw 998 to a post Mania Raw, it was probably in the middle aka not that bad, so bah. That game just had a ton of hype, they shouldn't react negatively to it.

Eh, it's only one show, but the problem is that WWE will never accept responsibility no matter how far it dips. They'll always find a reason as to why their viewers aren't watching their "excellent" product.

It will probably get better the more the build up the greatest match of all the times between Orton and Cena.

If that doesn't work, then we need Triple H to make a full return to the ring to improve ratings.

Ratings don't matter when some guys don't do so good. They do matter with theirs.

Same here.

Although if WWE was out there putting on an excellent product, I might favor them over the NFL.
