Punk retiring early doesn't really surprise me. The man's already done everything that he's wanted to do in the WWE.
I can also buy Del Rio retiring soon. Might be why he was jobbed out to HuniCara.

"Sooner than later." Come on now. That's not even news. If they retired in 20 years instead of 30 years, this would be f***ing true.

Does that mean they'll get written out together in an angle where they realize they were in love the entire time before riding off into the sunset?

If Punk does retire, I hope he'll only be out for a short while, then come and do commentary. Seriously, he was always amazing and I have no doubt he'd be the next JR/Styles.

I can see both. Punk has discussed it, he's had more knee issues (that were bad before signed with WWE, hence why he stopped the Pepsi Plunge), and ADR would not shock me at all.
Coincidence that they are gong to remove the WHC, which is the centerpiece of ADR's push, storyline, and pretty much character? Probably not.

That's some "insightful" reporting, all right, what with Punk constantly making it very clear he'd bow out early rather than be incapable of moving.
And Alberto Del R..........................huh? Sorry, I fell asleep because of...something. I'm sure it wasn't important.

its a rewording of a blurb PWInsider posted a few days ago: "There's been a lot of talk within WWE of both CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio talking about retiring within the next few years."

Punk won't retire. Spent much of his career wrestling in front of 12 people. Suddenly gonna give it up?
Absolutely no chance

Yeah right. Part timers maybe.
Few people ever "retire" in wrestling. If the money is right, they'll always come back.
