Batista is also on the late night content warning before Raw in the UK. The evidence is growing. Doesn't that also show a pre-headshave Punk? It's pretty antiquated.

I wouldn't mind getting a little run by a Hollywood 'Douche' Batista. He was very entertaining in his final months of WWE.

if he does come back he needs to bring his title shot game genie with him.
"Hi i'm Batista, been away for a couple years. now where's my title shot!?!?!"

Batista's awesome and all, but if he's sticking around for WrestleMania, this is again leaving the full-time roster with less and less to work with.

Big Dave has a whole new locker room of Divas to conquer. If they send him down to NXT to get back into fighting form, another one to claim in the name of Batista.

If Batista comes back to get that sweet Wrestlemania payday I will mark like hell. If he somehow has a cameo on Total Divas, just shut down the internet. I love that guy. You know, someone here did make a thread wondering if Total Divas was around when Batista was on the roster. This is close enough.

WWE having to rely on part-time, semi-retired wrestlers in their 40's to prop up the Wrestlemania buyrate because they've done a crappy job of building their current roster?
Naw, you don't say!

Not quite... - Undertaker vs. John Cena - Unified World Title: Randy Orton (C) vs. CM Punk (Rumble winner) (if Orton wins, HHH replaces Vince as Chairman) - Daniel Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar (note: Hulk Hogan refs these three matches) - Batista vs. Sheamus - Divajack Title match: AJ Lee (C) vs. Tamina - 12 man TLC for the Tag Titles: The Brotherhood (C) vs. Wyatts vs. Shield vs. Real Americans vs. Usos vs. TruthWoods - IC Title: Big E. Langston (C) vs. Dolph Ziggler - Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara There, all the rising talent gets showcased alongside possible big time veterans, with fresh matchups to boot. They probably won't be able to balance it that well, but it's possible.

Judging by this thread title, I'd just want Batista to return, have a house show match, and then leave and have it never be mentioned by the announcers. And I'm a huge Batista fan, I just think that'd be the funniest thing for some reason.
"Yeah, Batista returned at some Arkansas house show about a month before WrestleMania. He didn't stick around though. Wonder what that was about."

And the problem is further exacerbated by the fact that each of those past stars will probably get a 30 minute promo on both RAW and SD, which bumps down guys like Miz, Ryback, Barrett, Ziggler, etc. to Superstars, which bumps the guys who would normally be wrestling on Superstars off of TV altogether.

Which up and comers do you think will NOT be showcased? Does anyone really WANT to see Miz or Ryback anywhere near a major Mania match as of now? I sure as hell don't. They are not entertaining to me. Here's how I feel about it: Wrestlemania since its inception has always been bigger than the majority of the regular roster. Mr. Effin T was in the first main event. I completely understand if I was a low carder that not being able to be involved would suck, but at the same time the company has always aimed to put on the biggest show possible. Not getting to see The Miz or Los Matadores, or those type of names doesn't bother me in the slightest when it comes to Wrestlemania as a viewer. I want to see the big names at Wrestlemania. I know that I'll get my fill of Sweet T or R. Truth the next night on Raw or on Friday. I feel that the company tries to get as many people as possible crammed on to the show to get them the payday, be it through some sort of big tag match or pre-show battle royale, or whatever - but when it comes to the actual Mania broadcast, I don't give a crap about seeing someone who curtain jerks a random Raw or Superstars in May more often than anything else. I feel the same way about the Rumble. I want to see a balance, but if given the choice of a cool surprise of a Diesel or Hunico, I'm going to go with the surprise all the time. I also feel that they get the right up-and-comers on the show. I have no doubts The Shield will be showcased. Big E will probably have a big match. There is a lot of self-righteous indignation when it comes to armchair booking. Oh no, Zack Ryder is not on Wrestlemania. I don't want to see Ryder on Mania or in the Rumble. I'd rather see that slot go to an awesome surprise because thats what these shows represent for me. Everyone still get paid very handsomely during Mania week with all of the Axxcess events and stuff of that nature where everyone including the kitchen sink is used. I hope to hell that Ziggler can get out of the hole/rut he's been in. I dont give a shit about seeing low-card fodder on the biggest show in the "sport". Does anyone want to see the Jets in the NFL playoffs besides a Jet fan (a.k.a. Zack Ryder's dad)? I'm not intending to be rude or attacking with this post whatsoever, but I want Mania to be massive. I want to see Brock. Hell, I want to see Batista now too. I don't really care if I don't see Sweet T, the Miz, Diego, or Curtis Axel on these shows. I see them plenty on the regular shows, the ones I pay 60 bucks for or more if I have tickets I want to be HUGE.
