On the other hand, it is nice to see Del Rio talked down to after some of the comments he's made about Miz and his inability to be professional around the original Sin Cara. It is basically turnabout as fair play on that front. Doesn't mean that Batista is justified in it, though I imagine it is probably a work, but ADR is guilty of buying people at times himself.

Where's the heat on Triple H when he burried the entire roster by comparing them to a broom? That was o-screen, in character. Not really the same thing, or else you have to start getting onto Flair for saying no one else was the man because they did not beat the man, including guys who had in fact beat him. You can see where this can get silly very fast.

Batista should just defecate in the ring when he comes back.

Well, either way, I can guarantee that whatever Batista may have tweeted pales in comparison to what the WWE writing staff have done to de-value the current roster.

There is some truth to that, and honesty, it seems to be a problem in wrestling in general, at least in the US. WWE, TNA, and ROH seem to put much more focus on promoting the company, rather than the actual wrestlers, and it has contributed to a lot of people lost in the crowd.

Maybe a Hellmouth will open, taking Batista and Del Rio in one fell swoop. Big Dave is used to pits of danger. *slow clap*

There's that and as soon as an Attitude Era star comes on screen, they treat them like gods. Which is fine, except when you're treating 95% of your roster like schmucks, it just makes your current product seem all that more lackluster.

Del Rio should take notes from AJ Styles on how to shoot back at Batista.

Batista responded via Twitter, cryptically writing, "Seems 2 me that some C level stars in a B level star era have bought into their own hype. Don’t turn a work into a shoot. #realitycheck" The truth hurts, don't it? Za-ZING. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Batista was a B level star in a B level era so really I can understand in a way. He was telling the truth. They can be mad but it is what it is. Personally I think Del Rio was trying to push the feud and Batista didn't really think of it as that and instead he spoke from the heart. Although it was true it cut a bit too deep to some of the boys in the back.

Batista being a prima donna against a guy just trying to hype up a kayfabe feud? Business as usual. No different than when he complained about being too good for Smackdown until Booker T beat the shit out of him for real.
Of course, that doesn't mean what Big Dave's saying isn't true, because it sure as hell is. Mind you, Batista was never more than a B level star in a B level era himself, so he hasn't exactly got room to throw stones.

Del Rio has thrown stones himself in the past, so I can't really be upset about it. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Oye, Alberto, you really think you get to mock anybody for their MMA career? His MMA career really wasn't that bad, though. Getting knocked the f*** out by Cro Cop is nothing to be ashamed of. Really, though. Dunno where this whole meme of him having a glass jaw came from. Batista'd have to be really full of himself if he thinks one match makes him some kind of a "shooter." Then again, we are talking about Batista...

I think Del Rio would wreck big Dave.
losing to cro cop > beating a can.

Alberto Del Rio is a C level star, and we're not really in a B level era, so I think he was being kind. Del Rio is worse for the WWE title than Arquette was the WCW title

My favorite Big Dave comment was when he and Undertaker wrestled at Mania 23, and Dave yelled as he came through the curtain : "Follow that!"
