All this talk about B's and A's reminds me of Batista's Konami Code worth of world title shots.

I find it really funny how Batista blasted WWE about being too kiddy and that he would never return until things got edgy.
Despite a failed movie career, the dude decides to come back to WWE feeling as though he is some huge star people will be clamoring for.
Signing a two year contract just shows that the dude could not cut it as an action star and will be stuck facing his biggest fear, duct taped basketballs.

Alberto Del Rio is a C level star, and we're not really in a B level era, so I think he was being kind. Del Rio is worse for the WWE title than Arquette was the WCW title I disagree. I get that Del Rio's not everyone's cup of tea, but imo he's an "acceptable" champion in an era where the true stars end up being booked above the title. I wouldn't make him a headliner, but he's a good placeholder champion.

The dude is going to be in Guardians of the Galaxy. It may fail, but given Marvel's track record lately that may not be likely. To me it seems like the guy is doing the Rock thing and coming back to help promote his hollywood career. I do find it funny Big Dave's mouth is still letting loose golden pipebombs that get this forum going.

Despite a failed movie career ..... And yet he's going to be in what will be one of if not the biggest movie of the year.

Ya, the dude has a chance to at least make a pretty decent B movie career coming out of doing the Marvel flicks. They lock everyone down for multi picture deals, so there's always potential he becomes a huge star. Is it likely he's the next Rock? f*** no. But it's very likely he has a decent film career come out of this

Shouldn't we wait to see how Guardians of the Galaxy performs before using it to claim that Batista has Hollywood cred. For every Iron Man there's been a Green Lantern and Daredevil DOA film.

I'm not sure which line comes across as dumber. The don't turn a work into a shoot one, where Batista does just that by using those terms, or the B level star one, where Batista pretty much insults himself as well as the rest of the roster, considering he's part of the same era. Not dumb. What Batista is saying with the B Level Star thing is that when Batista was last part of the company the WWE was actually a pretty different landscape, there were a lot of big "A Level" stars that have since either retired (Edge, HBK), gone part time (Jericho, Undertaker, Triple H), or left (Jeff Hardy, Batista himself) leaving the WWE very starved for "star power" and lacking in superstars. The time he left kind of WAS a different era than the one we're in now, even though Cena is still on top and the tone of the show is the same for the most part, the loss of full time star power is definitely a noteable change. Thats what Batista is kidna pointing out, that Alberto rose to "stardom" during a time where he was a medium sized fish during a time where there weren't that many big fish in the pond. So he isn't insulting himself. ((The work/shoot part is obnoxious though so I'm on your page there. ))

Finlay dismisses the Booker T/Batista fight:
5:46 or so. Finlay has also said that Booker wanted to get out of the encounter, talking about getting him later and such, with Batista saying that they should fight then and there.

I think H's there's no one left in the locker room at my level comment buried everyone FAR worse than a B level locker room tweet.

Even if the film is shit it's still going to be huge. The worst Marvel has put out in recent memory was Captain America or Thor and those movies were still pretty big. All people need to know is that it ties into The Avengers and people will have already bought a ticket.

why anyone would want Batista back, I'll never understand LONG face run with multiple title reigns good entertaining heel run against Cena won Rumble, WWE and WHW title probably too old for a fulltime schedule what else is there to do with him? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ??

But it's very likely he has a decent film career come out of this Failed in the sense that he still has to come back to a company that he loathes. Batista should be getting a bunch of gigs instead of one movie and then being able to sign to WWE for 2 years. Thats a really long dry spell for an aspiring actor.

I don't mind Batista coming back as long as he A) puts someone new over (Roman Reigns would be the best choice) strong eventually like HHH did for him, and B) they don't have him win the Rumble and get what should logically be Daniel Bryan's title shot at Mania. Batista hasn't really meant a thing to business since 2006, so I will not understand the logic in him potentially walking out of WrestleMania as Champion. If anything, his drawing power is as negligible as anyone else's. He's not going to pop buyrates.
