Seriously, though... It's an odd situation. I mean, this match will almost certainly be good and I have no doubt that Bryan will win and be mega-over as usual... But, it could and probably should be so much more than this for him.
They've got the opportunity to cement possibly the most organic and natural ascension to main event status in years, and they're just sitting on their hands with it, and probably not through any maliciousness for Bryan, but just by being so set in their ways.
He'll be fine like he always is. Hell, he'll possibly win the title again as soon as Extreme Rules. It's just... like I said, odd.

I really hope that this is not true. It would be such a huge waste of Daniel Bryan - and I would not be able to get my head around why at all. Still clinging to Bryan winning on Sunday.

I'd only accept this If Bryan wins the Rumble and Sheamus wins the title at Elimination Chamber.

Yeah, you would have thought after the reaction Bryan got after attacking Bray Wyatt, they would have capitalized on it. By instead, it seems like their sitting on their hands. It's like WWE is hesitant to push him. It's like if WWE had The Undertaker win the Royal Rumble in 1998, or Kurt Angle win the Royal Rumble in 2005 instead of Batista. They have a guy who organically over and many people like him, but instead they seem set in the ways and don't want to change anything. After two years of Rock/Brock being the spotlight, it'll be nice to see someone who actually will be on television more than 15 times a year be pushed.

There'd probably be about a 400,000 drop off in buys like at WM 26 for this card. Pretty flat and uninspired, and no real dream or marquee matches. (Lesnar /Taker could have been last year, but that ship has sailed. Does anyone think even Brock has a chance to beat Taker anymore?).

It's like they're intentionally making it shit because a lot of people are going to be getting it on the Network. I mean, I like Sheamus, but they've not got long to build this up, and this would be the 3rd Wrestlemania we've seen this at (Granted one was pre-show, but still.) Surely they have superior options?

Would the storyline be good between Cena and Wyatt, I would think so. I just have no interest in Cena/Wyatt. Just like how I ahd no interest in Ryback/Henry, or Triple H/Lesnar 2. Will Lesnar/Taker be good, no doubt. But we all know Taker's no losing to a part-timer. HHH/Punk will only work if Punk wins. If Triple H wins AGAIN, than the whole thing is useless. And if Batista/Orton does happen, expect the crowd to take a collective shit over the whole thing.

The way they talk is this is more about bring Bray and the Family up than Cena just settling.

More smart mark overreaction.
People need to get over the fact that Bryan will not be main eventing Wrestlemania and move on.
