If his opponent is Sheamus, and it ends with Sheamus kicking him in the face and winning, then it really wouldn't surprise me.

The more I read of Bryan not winning the Rumble... the less I trust the WWE to actually give a guy getting massive reactions a chance, instead of an old-timer who had that chance 9 years ago.

I don't care who his opponent is, as long as WM30 ends with him as WWE World Champion.

I wouldn't mind it if Bryan wins the rumble and an Over the top super bad ass heel sheamus wins the chamber match for the title.

I love the attitude the anti-Bryan brigade has,
"Pshhhh just got over it you whiners"
Real constructive that'll definitely help the WWE in the long term if we all just shut up and eat what their feeding is, I mean what's better for this company than a part timer and a heatless champion main eventing mania? The answer is definitely not to build new stars.
I for one can't wait for wrestle mania 32 and it's main event Hulk Hogan vs Bruno Sammortino

I wouldn't mind it if Bryan wins the rumble and an Over the top super bad ass heel sheamus wins the chamber match for the title. My friend and I were speculating on this and mentioned a Chamber with Sheamus, Batista, Lesnar, Orton, Cena and Punk. Could you imagine how huge that would be? We also discussed the possibility of the Chamber match being for a shot at the streak, which would be neat. There's a few cool possibilities out there.

First it was Taker and now Sheamus. Ill believe either when I see it.

I've heard Orton, Wyatt, Undertaker and Sheamus all named in the last 2 weeks...
I'm not in the anti-Bryan brigade, neither am I in the pro-Bryan camp. I am in the "WWE needs a future, and needs to stop relying on part-timers and past stars, otherwise they'll go the way of WCW"-group. Having Bryan win the Rumble and main-event Wrestlemania would cement a new top guy alongside Cena, something that the WWE needs like a man lost in a desert needs water. Someone mentioned that Bryan not winning would be like Batista/Cena/Edge not making up the final three in 2005, and having Goldberg win instead.
There's a chance Bryan may still be getting these reactions in 6 months, but failure to do something now with Bryan would be utterly reprehensible.

More smart mark overreaction. People need to get over the fact that Bryan will not be main eventing Wrestlemania and move on. But he's supposed to be main eventing WM. He's earned that right. He's not SUPPOSED to do anything of the sort.

Try it! You might like it. "No! It looks yucky! I don't want it!" Which I could even empathize with, from a business perspective, but Vince has seen the reactions Bryan gets. So he's really just saying, "No, I like it, but Billy likes it too and I don't want Billy to be happy, so I'm going to throw it away." Which is more incomprehensible than just not wanting to go with something you don't know anything about when there are options on the table that you already like. (Obviously these comparisons don't stretch very far even then... Bryan's not being thrown away, he's just not being used to the extent that the crowd reactions would typically warrant. But it's not like any of these wrestlers are brand-new to Vince... they've all been giving performances on his show for a substantial period of time.)

Storytelling logic would require Daniel Bryan main eventing Wrestlemania, winning the title, and enjoying a long reign
But it's WWE, so he'll probably be eating a Brogue Kick instead.

If - if - it were something with Triple H deciding to drop Orton and set up as Sheamus as the new corporate champion (hell, it'd be a good way to keep Cena from getting the title but also keep him from having to lose to Orton again - go the Survivor Series 2008 route with it, it'd be great), and the build was basically, "I beat ya in eighteen seconds, fella. What makes ya think ya should rep da comp'ny ovuh me?" it could be pretty damn awesome. That's probably giving them too much credit.

The fact that the HHH/Stephanie/Authority/B+ storyline has been quietly buried doesn't bode well for Bryan. He won't be getting his revenge against them, because they haven't even mentioned it for months. Now he's in a feud with the Wyatts. So as far as the viewer is concerned, he lost the Authority feud. The heels were proven right. It's utterly terrible storytelling. If he is to win the title at Wrestlemania, they basically have three months to craft an entirely new storyline for him relating to the WWE Championship. I just don't think it's going to happen, unless they introduce it at the Royal Rumble.
