Yeah I'm going to believe this when the dirtsheets have been contradicting each other. Unless the plan is Sheamus winning the Rumble with Bryan getting the win in the Elimination Chamber, or vice-versa I'm not buying this. I have heard nothing contradictory from the reputable sites. Meltzer and PWInsider have been reporting the same basic direction since November which is when plans he usually started to leak.

I don't get why people are talking about DB winning the chamber. He won't be done with Bray at the Rumble.

Both have been on this plan since Nov. Have they gotten things wrong in the past, yeah, but that is rare. They don't pull stuff out of their asses, this is stuff told to them by people in WWE.

Blah whatever. I had a long rant posted here but it's not worth being upset about. I really have no interest in Mania and the WWE in general for the foreseeable future if this happens. Call it smart rage or whatever but I just don't care anymore

Unless Sheamus is the champion then, I REALLY hope this isn't true.

I think this would be a great, logical way for Bryan to defeat the Authority and stand at the top once and for all. Of course, Sheamus would need to be the champion.

lol Sheamus
I can imagine WWE deciding to give Bryan a 15 second win and therefore robbing him out of a real Mania match twice in three years.

I've read that they 'leaked' 6 or 7 different cards to insiders to try and find out who's leaking the information. Not sure how true that is but personally I'd think Sheamus would be the last opponent Bryan would be facing at WM, so could see someone giving off duff information.

If true this could be a really good story. Play off their history, have Sheamus talk about how he owned Bryan in the past so the Authority sent him after Bryan. Maybe even have them as the final two in the Rumble.
It's not my favorite option but it isn't the worst either.

It's still so mystifying to me that the best they can come up with for Cena is a feud with Bray seemingly. Would the storyline be good between Cena and Wyatt, I would think so. I just have no interest in Cena/Wyatt. Just like how I ahd no interest in Ryback/Henry, or Triple H/Lesnar 2. Will Lesnar/Taker be good, no doubt. But we all know Taker's no losing to a part-timer. HHH/Punk will only work if Punk wins. If Triple H wins AGAIN, than the whole thing is useless. And if Batista/Orton does happen, expect the crowd to take a collective shit over the whole thing. Just like how they took a collective shit on Cena vs Orton at TLC right? oh wait...

Honestly, good. Yes, it sucks that he's not going to fight for the title, yes, chances are this won't tie in at all to last year, but here's what I think. Putting my fantasy booking cap on.
Sheamus, returning from the Royal Rumble, is bitter that since he's been gone, everyone's been talking about Daniel Bryan, despite the fact that he DID beat him in 18 seconds. So, he decides he's going to do something about it. They build it up that it's not the same Bryan as two years ago, but Sheamus is TOUGHER and yes, we'll say it, MORE AGGRESSIVE than usual. Mania comes around, Sheamus immediately goes for the Brogue Kick and they have a competitive, most likely great (Given this card, 85% chance of it being show stealing) match, with Bryan winning, leading the crowd in a YES! chant, and the story circle is complete.

But he's supposed to be main eventing WM. He's earned that right. But he's supposed to be main eventing WM. But he's supposed to be main eventing Let's not get crazy here; who are any of us to decide what is SUPPOSED to happen? None of us have the authority to say what WWE should or should not do, but we can criticize. Imagine if Steve Austin had been forced to join the Truth Commission and had a blow off match with Kurrgan the Interrogator at Royal Rumble 1998 and wasn't in the Rumble that year. Because that's what is happening right now.

So Bryan goes from not having any plans for Mania to fighting Sheamus. That's what I love about this time of year. The sheets speculate on the card for Mania. Fans create their dream card for Mania. WWE creates a card not fitting what either side thought it was going to be and Mania is crapped on with the Wrestlemania thread being filled with pissed off folks are fishing up stream. Honestly, good. Yes, it sucks that he's not going to fight for the title, yes, chances are this won't tie in at all to last year, but here's what I think. Putting my fantasy booking cap on. While I'll take this news with a pinch of salt, I like this idea.

Not sure you grasp the type of crowd that will be at WrestleMania. Don't you recall the RAW after last years Mania where the crowd COMPLETELY shit on that Orton/Sheamus match, to the point people were watching the audience over what was going on in the ring.
