Spoilers abound, obviously. Anyway, I just had a pretty bad one, been powering through Sons of Anarchy recently on Netflix, and {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Opie's death hit me pretty hard. Dude was by far my favourite character after Jax, he was such a badass viking, just so awesome. Seeing him go out in such a way legit made me well up a bit.
And then the wake they had, Jesus. Anyway, discuss 'em here, and Spoiler 'em where it's needed.

Miratrix in Operation Overdrive, in a way being stuck in a crystal is a fate worse than death.
Everyone of Kenny's deaths in South Park (I've had to be upset quite a lot for that)

{Spoiler}Glenn in the Walking Dead comic. 2 TPBs released since and I haven't bothered with either - that was regular reading whenever it came out, but I think it killed my love for the comic for good (though I hold out hope I'll just grab a few TPBs at once off Amazon one of these days...)

A long time ago I watched a non-Disney version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. If I recall, he actually dies in this one and becomes an angel.

Pretty much anyone from the Rocky Series {Spoiler}{Spoiler}From Mickey to Apollo to Adrian, they all had me crying at times. I think Adrian was kind of the easiest to take, we hadn't seen her in years and years and we weren't there with her and Rocky when she died, so I wasn't as upset...but her missing presence is felt through the whole movie. I got upset about Mickey dying because he was an old man and died with Rocky sort of lying to him ("Da fight only went tree rounds Mick...won by knockout..."). Apollo really hit me hard because he had a beautiful wife, kids, and was obviously still a rather young man. He didn't need to be fighting and dying in the ring like that. Of all the Rocky characters, Apollo is the one I wish they hadn't killed off the most. Him being crippled would have had a stronger impact, IMO.

David the Gnome haunted me for years. It was so unsettling for me that I was convinced it was some f***ed up dream I had, there's no way that that was the ending to a kids show. Years later, due to the meme that spawned from him I found out the name of the show and that the ending that bothered me for most of my childhood was real.

Derek Reese from Sarah Connor Chronicles.
It was a combination of being blown away by Greene's performance over the course of the series and the sudden, very un-dramatic way they did it.
When it happened was one of the VERY FEW times I audibly voiced my distress at the TV.
