He won't be dead as long as Supes.
I'm sort of amazed they still pull this shit in 2014. The dwindling reader base has known the deal for over 20 years now.

He'll be back in roughly two years. They really ought to try to think of new ways to shake up their main canon.

Won't last, it's Wolverine they'll just bring him back even more powerful than he's ever been.
Nobody stays dead in comics except for Uncle Ben.

There is absolutely 0% chance of him staying dead. I'll marry Alison Brie and win the World Cup by myself before Marvel keep a top-tier character like Wolverine dead for more than a year or two.

How are you even supposed to kill him?? Marvel has shown that pretty much only the complete destruction of every electron that makes up every atom that makes up every molecule of his body must be completely and absolutely destroyed or he'll just regenerate back to life. They've been way too ridiculous with him for me to ever take any "death" he might have seriously.

Drowning or Suffocation is still the best plan to kill off wolverine. Or use that deus ex machina sword that killed sabretooth and omega red.

In about a year and a half, we'll find out that he wasn't really dead. His soul was just stripped by Shiar technology and implanted in a computer which will then give way to a clone body that has nanomachine claws or something.

I think it was 3 or 4 years ago. ![](http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e99/Jokerspack/Supervillains/WolverineVsSabretooth.jpg) This sword prevents the healing factor from working. ----- *He recently came back in the comics but iot's probably a clone, not the real one.

He will die. Only to slowly heal a few years later. Those few years are in comic book years or our years

I think every major Marvel and DC comic book character has been "killed off" at one time or another, so this isnt really news.

And Wolverine Rebirth will be released just in time for a new Wolverine movie. Oh who am I kidding, he'll be back in a few months.

Four months. They still run a ton of out of cannon one shots and mini series so they won't miss him in print. This is a weak stunt
