Since I'm on a semi-kick for Star Trek after a few years, I thought this would be an interesting topic So let's say you were to go into the universe of Star Trek...which uniform style would you prefer wearing on a regular basis? Enterprise: Original Series: Reboot Film Series: The Motion Picture: Movies 2-Generations: TNG Season 1 & 2: TNG Season 3-Generations: DS9 Season 1-5 & Voyager: Movies First Contact-Nemesis & DS9 Seasons 5-7:

The red uniforms from TWOK onwards. Personally I always felt those uniforms must have been hot as hell to wear, with the undershirt in addition to the red overshirts. But that's just me.

Probably Reboot purely because it looks the most comfortable and not far off something I already wear.

Either the Voyager or DS9 uniforms. The red jacket uniforms have always looked great, though I agree they look like they have way too many thick layers.

I really like the First Contact-Nemesis/DS9 uniforms. Reboot uniforms are pretty snazzy too.

Enterprise jumpsuits, hands down. Probably my least favorite Star Trek show, but the uniforms look great.

I always hated Counselor Troi getting to wear house dresses, while the rest of the crew were in uniform.
The look on her face when Captain Jellico told her to cut that shit out was priceless.

Well, she was a ship counselor...I could see the thought of having someone dressed relaxed rather than in Starfleet uniform being somewhat easier for other officers to relate too. ...well, except for those who'd want to look down her top, but whatever. But yeah, she did seem to get more serious post-that. IIRC, after that change she did get a chance to impersonate a Romulan.

Well, with the exception of the huge belt buckle (which some have said in-canon is a vital signs watching device, but whatever).

They were able to reuse those awful TMP pajamas for later movies by dyeing them red.
