According to Bryan Alvarez, Willie Mack's been offered a deal, but has yet to sign it. So take that for what it's worth.

I'm unable to find the words to accurately portray the noise I made reading this. So I'll just put it in gif form;

If the booking was as good as the roster, WWE would be awesome.

Steen and Zayn coming onto the main roster together as a tag team would be beautiful. I swear, WWE is just unable to figure out how to bring Zayn up properly (and I don't blame them - if they bring him in now, he's just Daniel Bryan #2), and the mask-less Steenerico team would be perfect. Love that idea. Zayn is great but has nothing in terms of character development and I think it is really holding him back. Pairing him up with Steen could be the key to getting both on the main roster soon. With that said, I do worry about Steen in WWE. Having less freedom in the ring and promos has me wondering how he'll adapt. since the Network came up it seems like Zayn is to busy making others look good to do waht's best for him. He also needs a WWE finisher. The Heluva kick and tornado DDT have been midmatch moves for to many guys. Looking at his moveset on wiki, WWE isn't doing anything with Gabriel so Zayn could get the 450 splash. Also the WWE has used the exploder suplex as a finish and not to many guys use it

Also the WWE has used the exploder suplex as a finish and not to many guys use it If Zayn took a top rope splash finisher, it would either be a diving superfly splash or a moonsault as those were his two main aerial moves on the indy scene. I don't think I've ever seen Zayn attempt a 450. Zayn fairly recently finished a match with a reverse STO into a Koji Clutch, and I could see that being a pretty nice WWE finish for him. As for that idea of Steen being a generic luchador, that sounds amazing. OLE!

I think the Helluva Kick would be fine and easily adapted to a main finish but I have been wanting someone to use the Koji Clutch for freaking ever.

NXT is gonna be really f***ing stacked this year eh. Neville, Crow, Kalisto, Zayn, Enzo, Devitt, Breeze with potentially Steen, Kenta and Mack. We will be entering the most entertaining era in years.

Hell, MVP used the overdrive instead of it

MVP though has started using that kick or a variation of it recently and won two matches with it, too bad Zayn can't use the brainbuster as his finisher

I said in a previous Steen thread, His style and Character just doesn't work for wwe, Letting him do what he does best would elicit an M rating.
I welcome master of the Package...Roll Up, Jaymin Gruntle.

The reverse STO seems like a finish to me, but the way they only gave it to people they weren't doing much with makes me wonderif others did

I welcome master of the Package...Roll Up, Jaymin Gruntle. Can't really agree. Steen's matches have great storytelling, head drops or not. His promos are good, swearing or not. When I think of how good Kevin Steen is, I don't think of cluster f-bombs or package piledrivers - I think of him pulling the camera toward his face while El Generico did his pre-match routine, saying, "You don't need to film that!" Or, I think of him telling a brilliant story later in that match where he was thrown around by Jigsaw's lucha moves, tagged out to Generico, came in to hit Jigsaw from behind, and tagged back in to an indignant Generico to begin the heat of the match. Seriously, while Steen thrives on being crude and indyish, he has the basic storytelling chops under that to be a success anywhere.

You have to have something that looks the part, then treat it as right.
