Black Baron Mordo? I imagine that'll be received real well. Honestly hadn't heard much backlash on that or the Ancient One being a woman... I'm sure some people are bitching somewhere though Speaking of I am assuming Mordo spends most of this movie as a good guy but I wonder if he'll have his heel turn in this movie (either like the ending stinger or in like act 3) or if they'll just wait until the next Strange movie proper. Hopefully this movie and gets beaten/killed off because Mordo is one of the dullest super villains ever. He's a cliche of if Strange went evil and has no interesting stories at all. Kill him off and move onto awesome Strange villains like Dormammu, D'Spayre, Nightmare & Shuma-Gorath

According to Civil War directors Strange would be on Team Cap.

Apparently during a break in filming Cumberbatch popped over into a nearby comic book store in his full costume and bought a Doctor Strange comic Not just a Dr. Strange comic, the BEST Dr. Strange comic.

According to Civil War directors Strange would be on Team Cap. He was neutral in the actual story, meditated on a peaceful outcome.

I guess it depends on what exactly the issue that causes the Cinematic Civil War I think he's mentioned in Winter Soldier as a potential threat to the Hydra-run SHIELD, so presumably he'd have something in common with Cap over that.

Also, did I hear Cumberbatch doing an American accent as Strange? Or are my ears deceiving me?

I'm pretty damn optimistic for this. You can't go too far wrong with Cumberbatch, Ejiofor, nor Mikkelsen.

Ok I'm totally on board and I really don't know much about Strange. Spider-man in Civil War and Strange getting his own movie... 2016 is the year of Ditko isn't it

Looks like they've downplayed some of the weirder elements in this first trailer. I'm intrigued, but I really wanna see some odd Ditko vistas at some point.

Not a bad trailer but the director isn't exactly great. He did direct The Day the Earth Stood Still, so he's not got a great record in the big-budget department. But hopefully, it'll be one of those "not very good director manages to deliver a surprisingly decent adaptation".

Marvel have already pissed off Joss Whedon and Jon Favreau by taking a little too much control over their movies, so if Dr. Strange isn't quite shaping up I'm fairly certain they'll have someone step in and "fix" it.

Looks like Inception and the Matrix trailers smashed together.
Pass so far. Hopefully the full trailer does a better job.
