I seriously wanted to see this but couldn't find another person that was even interested... sad times. You could have come with us if you lived closer. Went with my lady and a friend of ours. Great movie. Appreciate the long-distance invite!

You could have come with us if you lived closer. Went with my lady and a friend of ours. Great movie. Appreciate the long-distance invite! No problem. What I don't understand is locally Dr Strange played the theater for a week. But they still,as of yesterday, were showing Madea's Halloween. I shouldn't be surprised the local theater kept Soul Surfer playing for 3 1/2 months. And have been told Passion of the Christ played at this theater for almost a year.

Ehh it was ok. I'm not that interested in Dr. Strange as a whole so I more saw it just because it was an MCU movie. It wasn't something i was anticipating like I am Guardians Vol. 2.

Sorry to bump, Finally watched this last night.
Good movie, a little underwhelming and that astral scene towards the beginning, you know the one, killed my eyes.

Tried giving this one a chance as a friend lent me the digital copy.
Oof. Shut it off less than halfway through. Worse than Civil War by a lot and CW was painfully mediocre to me.
Reminded me of the superhero equivalent of an Underworld sequel. A lotta flash, but rote storytelling.

Watched this recently as well. Really enjoyed and wish I would've seen it in imax as I bet it was stunning.

As they said when the movie first came out, Do not go see this high. One of the better visuals I have seen and a lot of imagination went into this movie. Most importantly a brand new element in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
