I wouldn't hold my breath.....but there better be an Oprah-sized ASSLOAD of deleted scenes. Here's another that they could have added, to explain Nightcrawler's abscence. And before SOMEONE posts it, I KNOW THEY EXPLAIN IT IN THE GORRAM GAME.....I'm just saying that not every one plays games, and this would help those folks out, without even spoiling the game.
We see Wolverine walk out to check the mail. Inside, there are two letters; one to the ADMISSIONS OFFICE and stamped RE: Teaching Position from Shawn Cassidy (AKA Banshee) and one in an ornate envelope, in Kurt Wagner's unmistakeable handwriting. Wolvie tucks the first one under his arm and using a claw, slices open Kurt's letter. Then, over Logan's shoulder, we see the contents of the letter, IE the explanation that Crawler has grown more and more disturbed with his teleporting and is joining a monastery in an effort to atone for his sins, since he believes that by teleporting, he passes through hell itself.
And there you have it.....another little touch Ratner could have added to make his disaster more complete.

"It was just ok when it should have been amazing." is pretty much how a LOT of us are feeling right now. I'll give you another scene they could have added, with Angel this time, to bridge the gap between his with his wings stage, and his stage. All they had to show was a quick cut of a high school age Angel, who is miserably hiding his wings, sulking towards school. All of a sudden you hear a shout "Look out! She's gonna fall!" Angel frantically looks up to see a female groundsworker about to fall off a third story parapet. As we see a shot of the woman teetering, then losing her balance, we cut back to Angel, who, looking for help but seeing no one capable, throws off his oversized duster, and with one flap of his mighty wings, swoops in and saves her. Thus, he gains a new appreciation of his gift, and the reaction he gives later makes sense. If Ratner wouldn't have been so lazy, he could have come up with something similar that would have made the flick more coherent. Thats the annoying thing because the Angel back story is so great.

Can we hire you for the next movie? I wish...and thanks for the compliment! *Blushes* I mean, with a film like this, you have to KNOW that you can't put everyone's detailed origin in, but throwing the audience a bone, like what I'd written for Banshee, Nightcrawler, Gambit, and Angel, accomplishes a LOT. It's the little things that MAKE a movie like this, NOT the overblown and bloated action setpieces.

Well, I enjoyed this flick. I liked the other two as well. Sure, X3 is rushed and has too much going on, but at least it's all entertaining (at least to me) and it goes by fast enough that you can't pick it apart while you're watching. I'm not as strict a fan as some - I'm alright with changes, in other words - and for what it was, I thought X3 was fine, Blockbuster fun. And besides, it's got Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Famke Jannsen, Rebecca Romijn, and Ellen Page. I was in fricking hog heaven for two hours. ;D

I hated this film so much, I won't even write much about it. Suffice it to say, here's how I think the franchise should've played out....
X-Men 3- Dark Phoenix Saga, with the Hellfire Club being introduced and finding her (much like the comics). No Magneto, just an exploration of Jean and the Phoenix. She sacrifices herself at the end for the good of the world.
X-Men 4-The Cure is introduced. Magneto and The Brotherhood return to destroy it. Upon destroying it halfway through the film, the government introduces Plan B for the mutants: The Sentinels. The last half hour is the X-Men and Brotherhood teaming up to war with the Sentinels in Manhattan.
X-Men 5- Mutants and mankind have to unite to face their biggest threat, the coming Age of Apocalypse. Angel becomes Archangel, many fall, but the X-Men stop Apocalypse and are finally accepted by humanity. Curtain.
Along the way, Banshee, Gambit, Bishop, Blink and many others are introduced. Characters are developed and explained. I go home as happy as I went home from X2.

I would like to point out that X3 was only an hour and 28 minutes long.

I would like to point out that X3 was only an hour and 28 minutes long. It felt like four days of my life in the theater.

I would like to point out that X3 was only an hour and 28 minutes long. IMDb says an hour and forty-four, so we were both wrong. I was still in hog heaven no matter how long it was.

As far as I know, IMDb isn't exactly the top source for accuracy on these things. They get plenty of stuff right, but they also get stuff wrong. *Shrug*

We can say this last flick was just an alternate reality that Blink invented.

One other thing I thought about this movie was how it seemed like the worse issue of Ultimate X-Men you could find, but in movie form.

What sucked was everyone asked me did you watch the credits? I was like no it was a crappy movie, and I didn't bother. Than they tell me something happened at the end, and they said it was on tv all week. SON OF A B***!

I'm not spending money on it either, but still going to go see it...anything's gotta be better than Batman Begins. Considering Batman Begins is not only the best comic book adaptation ever made, it's also one of the finest movies ever made, I will say that you are quite, quite mad. Batman Begins>X3
