I'm sure a more talented director could have done something more. Hell, he had the greatest actor in the world, Ian McKellen, and the likes of Patrick Stewart and Kelsey Grammar on board. Don't get me wrong. I blame Fox alot. And Avi Arad. And Zak Penn. But I equally blame Ratner. He delivered exactly the kind of bland dross I expected him to. The man has no talent or artistic ambition. He should stick to producing "Prison Break" and "Santa's Slay" (look it up. That's him). I'm gonna find these f***ers, and kick them in the nuts!!! Why!! CAUSE I'M THE MERCENARY DAMMIT!!!

I just saw X-Men 3 yesterday.
I'm pissed because all they had Colossus do was throw Wolverine around and carry a big TV.
I wanted to see that move he did in the X-Men arcade game, with him yelling "AAAAAAAARGGGHHH!"
Of course, I was more interested in the Ghost Rider movie preview.

I saw it last Sunday.
It was good but not as good as the first two.
I think we might get a fourth movie because the ending.
Also I hate they killed off Callisto I liked her.

I don't think a fourth movie can be made without Professor Xavier, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Juggernaut (DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? I'M THE JUGGERNAUT, B****!), and Rogue back to normal.

I just got to thinking about this movie, and Juggernaut should have been killed instantly after Kitty pulled him into the floor. As soon as he went tangible again, his body would have been instantly full of concrete, steel beams, and whatever else that floor was made of. It's not like Kitty made a perfect Juggernaut-sized hole for him to fit into.

Boo-hoo, X3 wasn't as good as X2. Some of you people have unreal expectations, and a lot of you went into this film without even giving Ratner a chance. Give the guy a freaking break. Even if you didn't enjoy the movie, he's still making money directing films and you aren't. So until you're a big name director with major blockbusters on your resume, then let it go.

Well, Prof. Xavier may be back (if they do a fourth one) given the post credits sequence. Did you notice, they had to kill off two major characters in order for Halle Berry to make an impact? That's how much she sucks (I know they killed off more characters after that, but it was only once Cyclops & the Prof were dead that Storm did anything).

Did something happen after the credits? I didn't stay for them.
And one scene I thought was pretty cool was near the end where Wolverine is truggling to reach Jean, and you can see parts of his adamantium skeleton exposed as he's getting burned/dissolved and simultaneously healing.

Did something happen after the credits? I didn't stay for them. Then go watch the movie again, cheapskate! Okay, remember the bit when Moira McTaggert was talking about a body whose motor functions worked, but the mind was (for all intenets & purposes) dead? Well after the credits we saw Moira, standing by the bed of that same body, it moved slightly & said (in Patrick Stewart's voice) "Moira." Prof. Xavier had, it seems, used his mental powers to transfer his mind into that body immediately following his disintegration at the hands of Jean.

And I don't mind being a cheapskate at the movies, what with the $10 dollar tickets and the $8.00 popcorn and the interest and the wrath and the hurting!

It's like £7 for a bag of sweets in the cinemas over here! £7 would pay for my ticket, a bag of sweets from the shop across the road & I'd still have enough money to catch the bus home (well, to my home in Belfast, which I no longer live in).

Did some go into the flick with unreal expectations and not give Ratner a chance? Probably, but I'd like to think even those of us who are usually fairly positive and give most everything a fair shake can recognize a bad movie when we see one. You can put aside all the specific quibbles people have about storyline and characters etc and go in as a nonfan and the movie still isn't very entertaining IMO. That's not really even a slam at Ratner, everybody makes a turkey now and then.

I was determined to give the movie a fair chance. I had a friend saying to me that we shouldn't see it because the critics ripped it up and that Bryan Singer didn't direct it.
I'm not a fan of Rush Hour, but Red Dragon was one of the best movies in the last 10 years or so, so I felt Ratner could make some good contributions to the film.

So because I haven't made a big dumb action movie, I can't complain about big dumb action movies? Yeah, I'm so jealous of Brett Ratner because he makes money. There are about FOUR THOUSAND F***ING DIRECTORS in the world, many of whom I consider influences (I plan to make movies), but because I didn't like Ratner's waste of time flick, it's automatically because he's making "blockbusters" and I'm not. Give ME a break. I paid to see a movie, and I didn't like it (even though I forgave plenty of things that my friends didn't regarding characterizations, etc). But I guess my opinion doesn't matter because I'm just OMG COMiX FanBoY!!!1!!1

I really Dug X-men 3... some of the stuff bugged me as far as Phoenix goes(with stuff I remember from reading the comics back in the day) but I thought the over all story was pretty cool. I do wish I was up to par in the comics though because I didn't know who hardly any of the bad guys were in this movie. I thouguht fo r afew seconds I was getting Psylocke, but I don't think it was her.
But i enjoyed watching this movie.

You know what would of been cool. If Cyclops lived and appeared in the final battle. And you would have all the mutants that appeared on the cover of the very first X-Men comic How cool would it be if just for a Publicity Shot the actors reenacted the front cover. Another missed opportunity by Ratner.

Maybe we'll actually get a good ending to the XMEN franchise someday....
*SIGH*
XMEN 3 just passed $200 million. I guess it's a financial success, if nothing else.
But as a final caveat: I wonder how many of those $200 million paid ticket holders left the damn flick feeling as ripped-off and angry as I did?

There was no nightcrawler. I don't care if I had two years to get over that, he was my favorite character!
