Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler is stupid; sure it'll be a good match but there will be literally nothing at stake. Why would I want to watch a match where it doesn't matter who wins? The story will literally be LET'S STEAL THE SHOW, which is indy-level bullshit. Agreed. They pretty much have to turn one of them heel (or at least, have them act heelish in the build) in order for the match to really mean anything. Otherwise, what's the point? It'll be a great match that means nothing. I see enough of that on WWE TV, I don't need to see it at Mania. That sounds spoiled, I'm sure, but that's how I feel. What they could do is go the route of both guys wanting to prove something: Basically you have Dolph frustrated that Bryan has been as successful as he has been while he's been struggling for that same success. He claims that he calls himself the "Show-Off" yet he hasn't really done nearly as much showing as of late. He's won the Intercontinental title so many times over the past year only to lose it shortly after each time. So he wants to face Daniel Bryan to prove that he can hang at the top level. To prove that there's no glass ceiling. Meanwhile you have Bryan as the guy who wants to give Ziggler a chance. Obviously he sympathizes him since he was in a similar position years back. He realizes that he won't be challenging for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship this year so instead he decides that, just like Cena gave him a shot back at Summerslam, he wants to give Ziggler that same opportunity. At the same time he thinks a guy as hungry him would bring out his own very best and maybe help him get back to where he once was as well. That would definitely be better than "these two guys are really good so let's put them together so they have a great match!" |

I noticed this on Wreddit earlier, thought some of you might be interested... Outside of Daniel Bryan vs. Ziggler and the intrigue of seeing Sting wrestle in a WWE ring, I can't say this excites me. On a scale of 1-10 in excitement for each match I have: Lesnar vs. Reigns - 3/10 Triple H vs. Sting - 9/10 (due to it being Sting's first WWE match.) Wyatt vs. Taker - 7/10 (It's Taker wrestling again, so it'll be something to look forward to even though I'd prefer him to have a different opponent.) Rusev vs. Cena - 5/10 (Meh, not looking forward to it much.) Orton vs. Rollins - 8/10 (Should be a solid match.) Bryan vs. Ziggler - 8/10 (Would be a great match, but if there's not much story behind it than it takes away from it a bit.) |

Hell yeah to Bryan vs Ziggler, but sigh to no mention of Ambrose. I could see him winning the Andre battle royal, actually. What if Andre The Giant shows up at the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal? Would Ambrose still win? |

On a scale of 1-10 in excitement for each match I have: Bryan vs. Ziggler - 8/10 (Would be a great match, but if there's not much story behind it than it takes away from it a bit.) At Fast Lane, DB and Ziggler have nothing else to do, so they team up for the preshow tag title match Ziggler injures his leg and refuses to tag out. Bryan gets mad, kicks Dolph's leg out of his leg and they settle it at Mania! 10/10 |

Are they making the andre battle royale a yearly thing? They should except change the name of the battle honoring stars that have passed , It can be Macho Man this year , Owen next year - Sadly so many stars have died , they can a new name for the battle royal for many years to come |

I don't know why there is talk that the Bryan vs Ziggler match has no story. Right now, it has no story because the idea of them facing each other doesn't exist on TV world. I like the idea of it being the finals in a tourney for number one contendership, I also like the idea of them forming a team against the authority and the authority booking the match as a form of revenge against them, again with a number 1 contendership on the line. I understand the speculation, but I don't understand crapping on a match that's just a rumor because it has no build. Seeds will blossom into flowers, but seeds have to get planted first.

The whole thing is being built on Ziggler and Bryan being pissed they lost the Rumble and wanting to do something big at Mania, which is facing each other in a rematch of the 2010's Match of the Year. That is it, you lost, I lost, we're losers so lets be losers together. They started it with Ziggler challenging him on Twitter and WWE.com is running with it. |

Predicted most of that card except Bryan vs Ziggler, pissed Ambrose might be stuck in the Battle Royal but there really isn't anyone for him to face sadly.
