They didn't go to the bar on the Death Star before their mission(It's actually canon that one existed. Seth Green's second contribution to the canon since Clone Wars.)

Bothans gave their lives for the 2nd death star (geek mode off). Trailer looks good, very different feel than the usual star wars movie

It's a new Star Wars movie that finally has classic stormtroopers and vehicles. And it just looks good anyway.
