It's funny, at the time it came out Attack Of The Clones seemed superior to Phantom Menace in pretty much every way.
But 15 years on, Phantom Menace is actually the one that people remember and have a soft spot for. Attack Of The Clones is really only memorable for all the terrible dialogue between Anakin and Padme.

Attack Of The Clones is really only memorable for all the terrible dialogue between Anakin and Padme. As bad as Phantom Menace was, nothing came to a screeching halt quite like in Attack of the Clones when it would switch to Anakin and Padme. They had a decent story with the conspiracy that was going on for 10 years to build a clone army, but whenever that got momentum, we went right back to the negative chemistry between Anakin and Padme. And then you have Anakin's disturbing looks at Padme, and Anakin slaughtering a village and Padme being cool with it. My rankings 1. A New Hope 2. Empire Strikes Back 3. Force Awakens 4. Return of the Jedi 5. Rogue One 6. Revenge of the Sith 7. Phantom Menace 8. Attack of the Clones A New Hope and Empire are pretty much even, it just depends on my mood at the time for what is my favorite movie ever.

I feel kind of like I did after seeing Godzilla from the same director. Ultimately it's pretty good, but it wasn't great.

Phantom Menace for all it's faults at least has some amazing set pieces, With AOTC I barely remember it.....even after JUST watching it

And Blue Harvest, Something, Something Dark Side, and It's a Trap! could always go on these lists too.

I'd put Rogue One above the prequels but below the original trilogy, which is right where Force Awakens is. Disney is doing right by the franchise. They're not exactly creating something as original or as memorable as that original set of movies. That's a lot to live up to. I have no problem continuing to make seeing a new Star Wars movie a December tradition if they continue to be just as fun as these last two.

Felt the first half was a bit disjointed and could have easily had 10 minutes trimmed off it in the edit. I wasn't a fan of Forest Whitaker'S character as well. HOWEVER the last 45 minutes, oh man it's like they've mixed all the best elements of the Battle of Hoth, Battle of Endor and the Battle of Geonosis. And that last scene with Darth Vader is worth the price of admission alone.

Inctedible cast so far and incredible directors. Word-of-Mouth is powerful these days and with Rogue one its not really "Holy Shit Amazing!" or "Shit!" It's been conflicted or really good. I guarantee with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Han Solos going To get good word of mouth.

I really enjoyed it and my theater actually clapped which hasn't happened in a movie I saw in a long time.

It was cool the first time I saw it, but the more I've seen it and the more I've thought about it I just hate it more and more.

I really liked it. I liked Donnie Yen's character. {Spoiler}It was sad seeing everyone die at the end, though. Although it was inevitable.
