Most interesting thing I heard today was one of the new planets features in Rogue One: Jedha. A planet under Imperial rule called Jedha, considered to be the Mecca of the Star Wars universe. Jedi and Force-believers try to make the pilgrimage over to Jedha at least once in their lives and the Empire conquered it to intimidate Force-believers. Right off the bat that's more interesting than anything I saw in Force Awakens. Would imagine that's inspired by Jeddha, a city in Saudi Arabia.

Jimmy Smits is back as Senator Bail Organa Jimmy Smits is always a welcome addition to any movie or especially any television show.

Another trailer suppose to be out on Thursday During NBC's primetime coverage of the Olympics. Disney must have paid out the ass for that one.

Another trailer suppose to be out on Thursday I'm really looking forward to this on two levels: one, because it's an extended look at the next "Star Wars" movie and any amount of visuals will get me excited, and two, because it will be our first opportunity to see if these allegations that Disney is frustrated with the movie's dark tone are accurate. If the trailer is light and has Jyn cracking wise with that robot, then we'll know that Disney got its hooks into the movie.

I hope they don't Disney-fy it too much. I was really looking forward to a different tone for this one. I've never felt compelled to watch a SW film in theater and the first trailer a few months back intrigued me more than any other SW film so far. Disney is smart though, so I'm sure whatever they do to it will be the smart financial move, but I'm just hoping they don't go overboard.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, this will be the first time we see that effect where star destroyers are visible in the sky on the big screen.

It feels like they are holding back even with what we've seen. And who knows how much Vader we'll get.
I'm excited.

If I can be serious for a moment... I really like the music that's like a war movie version of the Imperial March. and yeah they look like they are holding back a lot in this trailer... I like it... still needs more Ewoks

They are holding back. They teased a few action figures for this movie in London earlier this year.
The symbol they used for the Rogue One line? Slave 1.

Very solid trailer, looking forward to seeing this movie this Christmas. That final shot of Vader was awesome. Really like Felicity Jones a whole lot, she seems like a great fit for that lead role.

I don't expect more than 15 minutes of screen time for Vader. Still, I'm looking forward to it.

Joy!
Said it before, but I'm guessing the film ends with Vader saying 'set a course for the Tatooine System!'.

Dude!
I'm still with the speculation that Felicity Jones is playing Rey's mother. I'm guessing we'll get a Luke reference, like Mothma saying "There is a young pilot on Tattooine that could be a great help."
I've got to say that I love that the Imperial Star Destroyers and the Death Star look f***ing massive. Gareth Edwards knows how to make stuff to scale perfectly.
