God, that sucks. 93 is one hell of a run, though.

Nothing quite makes you realize your mortality than hearing about the death of a man you thought was immortal. RIP to a legend.

The Tim Curry thread yesterday made me think about the actors that we've watched for so many years that we're inevitably going to lose in the next few years and Christopher Lee was always the first name to come to mind.
He had an amazing life, and a fantastic career. How many of us, when we hit our 80's, are just going to slow down and call it a day? Not Sir Chris, He was in Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, 2 of the biggest film series and then when you can't think you can be any more impressed by the life he's lived, he goes and records a metal album!
RIP Sir Christopher Lee. A true legend and one of a kind.

Terrible to hear but he led a hell of a life that 99% of the world would be envious of.

Goddamn shame. Loved him in everything he was in, one of those great voices that commanded authority and a great actor. And he did a metal album, which is f***ing badass!
Man, I guess that makes Charles Dance the new top of the list for "Cool voices I want"

Aw, man! Not Fu Manchu himself!
The guy was best known for his deep voice and method acting, and I loved him in just about everything he did, be it Star Wars (Count Dooku was one of my favorite characters) or a DC Comics documentary about the fascination with supervillains.
May be rest in peace and be allowed to entertain countless people up in Heaven with his acting prowness.
...seriously, today sucks.

I'm talking about him and ally coworkers are asking "Who is that?" I'm surrounded by uncultured troglodytes!
