For those of you who missed it last night, or those of you who saw it and obviously would want to see it again. Here's Milner's free-kick from last night.

Liverpool should have considered a different approach with that free kick and allowed their 30M+ striker to hit it towards the goal really hard.

Not a clue what Carrick was thinking on the OG.
Still, 3-1 is a tidy advantage heading to Belgium.
Smalling and Memphis were outstanding and I hope van Gaal realizes what height can bring to his squad because the Fellaini goal was a back breaker.
Pedro will add a nice bit of pace to the attack, but if Ibra is available, he is just the kind of target man we need, even at 34.
Job halfway done.

3rd in league one o.0 Another great result today though, draw or better against Coventry and I'll be beginning to wonder if we'll hang onto our better players!

Speaking of Coventry, as a Newcastle fan it's exciting to see one of our players performing so well - even in League One. Adam Armstrong has had a hell of a start to the season.

After weeks of haggling with Barca, United "pulls out" of their Pedro deal and the player will sign for Chelsea.
Regardless of whether or not LVG initiated the backing away, this looks terrible on United.

We need to stop trying to buy Barcelona players.

So, in Europa league action from yesterday, Borussia Dortmund decided to pull a SuperCena against Odds BK(What a name for that analogy) of Norway. Winning 4-3 after going down 3-0 and walking into the locker room for halftime with only an Aubameyang goal to show for it. The second half was all Dortmund as they played the way they should have the entire game and walked away with the W.

and tonight, in the first renfrewshire derby of the season ..... THE MIGHTY ST MIRREN gained a glorious point against their evil counterparts, the dirty GREENOCK MORTON they smited them they smited them good morton were the better side though, but their dirty tactics caused one of our players to be sent off! and jaime langfield, our plucky goalkeeper, was a HERO ..... saving many many shots from those evil doers ..... even when making a mess of a cross at the very end, causing me to have a HEART ATTACK, wasn't enough for those vicious hackers to thieve a goal against us! instead it should have been US that should have won the game, scoring a perfectly legal and not infringing goal, because of the blind referee and stupid morton goalkeeper attempting to go for it ..... despite being NOWHERE NEAR THE BALL and bumping into another giant of a st mirren attacker! and a very good freekick attempt for us at the end too but as the old saying goes A POINTS A POINT! ..... greenocks' a dump

And Balotelli is gone, back to Milan on a loan. That's about the only good thing that will happen today for Liverpool as I'm not expecting anything from the Emirates tonight.

Decent point for us there. We were by far the better side in the first half, Arsenal were by far the better team in the second. Can't complain when you go to Arsenal, keep a clean sheet and their goalie gets Man of the Match.
