Also in the group that thinks he's got to slow down and adapt his style. If Bryan isn't 1A or 1B, he's at best 1C and at worst 2A. His offense doesn't need to be that of a pinball. He needs to move into that Shawn Michaels '02 to '10 style. He was doing alot of that HBK 02-10 style when he was back in 2015 and it was amazing. Every now and then he did some ridiculous stuff though during that run

Bryan gives too much sometimes. Size or not, he's a top guy.

As stupid as it sounds I'm beginning to wonder if they even want him back, he'll just derail the moderate Reigns popularity If Cena was in the same position as Bryan I have no doubt he'd be cleared to return Perhaps a combination of this and making them look good in the concussion lawsuits? I simply don't want to believe it, but it makes a lot of sense.

And he wants it that way </3

He needs to move into that Shawn Michaels '02 to '10 style. Exactly. I say it all the time, but he could so easily drop all the flying junk and lose nothing. The most over thing in his entire arsenal are his kicks that allow the audience to chant "YES" in time with. Stick to the kicks and submission holds, and he's got a much safer style that's still over. As for the overall topic of Bryan, this is going to get ugly if WWE doesn't clear him soon. He's now had two top-level experts clear him to return to action, but WWE's doctor in their pocket won't. He wants to wrestle, and they're making him sit on the shelf healthy. He will leave if they don't clear him, and if they try to pull that Rey Mysterio contract extension bullshit on him, he'll probably seek legal action. If they have no plans to use the man, they need to cut him lose and let him go work. They're essentially holding him hostage at this point.

That missile dropkick where he takes a huge back bump is something else he needs to drop. That's the one that made his arm go numb against Orton.
If you think about it, he's pretty much been gone for nearly 2 years, he's probably feeling the best he has in a long long time.

I thought he was going to see the WWE doctor today or tomorrow? Anyway even if he's cleared it'll be hush hush for a big return so we just have to wait and see.

I want Bryan's offense to consist entirely of arm drags and fireman's carry takedowns.

I'm glad he's got a clean bill of health but I still think there's no chance we see the guy wrestling in a WWE ring in 2016 with the lawsuit still going on. It sucks, and I'd be happy to be wrong, but I just can't see it.

If he is not allowed to return there is something very fishy going on This is what I've been saying. I get that WWE has the concussion lawsuit, and I think that's playing into it heavily, but we also know how bullheaded and stupid Vince is I can see him using this as a catalyst to keep Bryan out. They won't even bring him on as an on-air personality. That makes no sense to me. Like another poster said in another thread Vince just doesn't like the idea of making a shit ton of money with DB. And the conspiracy theorist in me thinks that he's so dead set on this Roman Reigns thing, that Bryan coming back will take the focus off of Roman - the one HE chose, not the one the fans chose. 'Cuz he listens to the fans. /smirk

Seriously, if DB has two doctors clearing him while the WWE doctor says no, it's going to be very hard for WWE to defend not using him, and they're going to have to give a release to DB or face legal consequences, and WWE does not want another talent contract being challenged in court.

That's true, if Bryan gets Punk's 'Independent Contractor" lawyer, that guy bent McDevitt over a barrel.

Eh, their doctor sort of has final say. Doctors can differ in opinion from other doctors and still be right, and not every doctor is going to arrive at teh same opinion given the same set of information.
