That stuff as he was walking through backstage was his "Randy Orton doing a star jump" moment in terms of what-the-f***ness, kind of like he was killing time until he was self-aware enough to know that he'd come down enough.
Oh, and I guess we could talk about the stuff with The New Day as well.

When he left the WWE, he told Vince he wanted to take over Hollywood. He essentially has. I feel he just has fun when he comes back. Cause he's conquered this place and now he can help the baby that essentially gave him his big break.

Yeah, I dunno, but I just got a feeling he was doing weed or something. He's never THAT goofy.

I think he drank a few energy drinks. He mentioned shooting for 14 hours before he went to RAW. The guy barely sleeps

That stuff before he was in the ring was either him on something or him method acting that he was on something. That was wild.

He decided to finally listen to his own advice and smelled what he was cooking.

Yeah, Rock looked completely wired as soon as he got out of his truck. I still thought he was great, but to quote Bobby Heenan, he would make coffee nervous.

I don't care if he was or not, it was an awesome segment from start to finish!
It wasn't Dwayne Johnson, it was the Rock! And I'm a huge Rock fan and always have been!
Treating the Miz like a piece of dirt, making the Big Show cry and talking "special exercises" with Lana was gold! He looked truly emotional as he was about to walk out in front of the crowd. Say what you want, nobody can deny that he loves the business and appreciates his fans. The Byron comment was hilarious (though I expected him to ask what his name is!) and going off script to talk to the guys who only moments earlier had been moved from the hard camera for the very reason of not grabbing attention was classic Rock.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who marked out when the New Day's music hit as we all knew what was coming. Those guys showed they can hang with one of the greats and I loved Rocky smiling and damn near bursting out laughing at some of their comments. You can tell he finds them entertaining and it wouldn't surprise me if he actually suggested the idea. The Usos even got a small rub at the end!
There will no doubt still be people complaining about this part timer taking up 20 minutes air time but, screw you, it was the most entertaining segment in a long time!
