So, nopony's talking about the big elephant in the room from yesterday's episode?
I heard that Princess Celestia said in a round-about way that alicorns are not reproduced naturally, thereby insinuating that all the alicorns we have seen on the show so far are "artificially" made.

and did what i said i'd do watch the S5 ender then S6 begining-er  and it was AWESOME-ER!!! loved every part of it, all of it held together, the separate stories were excellent and funny and exciting and chaotic ..... basically it was "the teething" episode, where all that crystalling is all about really, to soak up all that RABID energy newborns have and dispose of it BY THE POWAH OF THE CRYSTAL HEART ..... only thing was at the end of things the crystal heart didn't change because of that, guess it was SUPER absorbent  everything held together, from starlight's utter and increasingly paranoidness about meeting with sunburst to his too, being the important wizard he wasn't! to twilight's ways of teaching her, no WAI did that add to the pressure of it all, big lists are the way to go! and even the lesser story line of rainbow dash and applejack and fluttershy trying to convince the crowd to get the hell away from certain death, but you know what with such an unique and historic event who'd WANT to leave their space!!! but of course the main highlight was flurry heart, a typical baby ..... and shining armour being completely frazzled ..... and the chaos that ensued! CAN'T WAIT UNTIL SHE'S A TEENAGER  the first part was brilliant and the second part did everything that was expected of it, by wrapping up the story very well, except for not changing the crystal heart even slightly ..... BEST SCORE COMING UP so since it was a tremendous start to season six, and ties up with the JOKE i did yesterday "where she lives" RIGHT EVERYONE  i'm gonna turn that frown that most of y'all have from it UPSIDE DOWN ..... THE CRYSTALLING GETS A NINE OUT OF TENWELCOME BACK |

This is something I hope they explore either through the show or the (pony) movie, perhaps explaining further whether or not Tia and Luna are ascendant as well. This makes my conundrum even more confounding |

Lapis is of course the same as Flurry Heart, a born alicorn instead of an ascended one.  |

With the lore from "Hearth's Warming Eve" that the unicorns controlled the sun & moon in olden times and the fact that Celestia's and Luna's cutie marks are on the Tree Of Harmony, perhaps it is all connected to the Elements Of Harmony choosing the unicorns Celestia and Luna to be the first ascended (though why they also granted them eternal life remains another question)...
