Great episode. Helps that it was focused on my two favorite characters, but yeah, a great debut for the new writers. Funny, charming, quality animation, basically everything I want out of the show. Went with a 9.
Plus, Rarity's Pinkie Pie impersonation. I mean, come on. If that's not a 9 by itself I dunno what is.

9/10 Really enjoyed this one. Rarity was on top form especially with her Pinkie Pie impression.. Too good. Stressed Rarity is always fun. I always feel Pinkie works best as a main character to an episode than a side character, she to was great. Maud "No f***s given" Pie was good as ever. All in all this was just an enjoyable episode. The only thing that is stopping this from being a perfect 10.. No Coco Pommel.. You missed a golden opportunity to bring 2 of Season 4's breakthrough stars together here Guys. There was a Suri Polimare cameo though. But yeah.. This is more like it, more Eps like this is Season 6 please  |

This was an all right episode, it felt like an issue of Friends Forever, but that is okay.
The question I have though is where does Limestone and Mable Pie fit into all this? Pinkie and Maud have their sisterly tradition, looks like Limestone and Mable, maybe because Pinkie and Maud are the middle children they have their own bond. I would like to Limestone and Mable have their own tradition. And knowing Pinkie she has her own special for all 3 of them, she never forgets any pony.
Well have we had a Pinkie / Rarity episode? If not, I am glad they are coming up with new combos. I think they are running out of combos, all that is left for each of them to have episodes with Spike.
I don't know what is wrong with every pony's hearing, I thought for sure Pinkie Pie saw what Maud did at the end to get the party canon, it looks like Pinkie has no idea what happened. And how does any pony see Pinkie's party canon, how did Maud know it was gone?
As for the street pawn shop pony, he was an okay character.
It was an okay episode, I like Maud, but she has her share of episodes, give me some Limestone and Mable Pie please.

Pinkie straight up mentioned that she was happy that Maud gave up her rock pouch to get back the party cannon in the very next scene after it happened. As for how Maud knew it was gone, Rarity was the one that told her that Pinkie traded it for the pouch. |
