Vince, why do you hate Ryder so much? He got himself over, on his Youtube show / outside the established WWE way of getting yourself over. Of course Vince will always hate him for that.

I don't care for Ryder, so him losing the title immediately is less annoying than him winning it at all.
But two months from now, Sami Zayn should be IC Champion, and be putting the belt over like it's a big deal. Miz is a vacuum, as usual, and having him hold the belt is a dead end.

I'm still just happy that for the first time in a long time, we had a legit surprise winner for a title.
The WWE seems to be getting back into the "ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE WWE" with Shane returning and Ryder winning. It felt like it had been years since something truly surprising had happened.

Man, can we just talk about how weird it is that Ryder is playing along on twitter? Like he's not even being bitter, he's happy about how it went down and kayfabing it up with Miz. I love Ryder, but the complaining when booking didn't work out for him used to suck. Now he's super rolling with the punches and it's downright eerie.

Who would win between Zack Ryder and Tyler Breeze?

Who would win between Zack Ryder and Tyler Breeze? Has already happened on Main Event like three times in a row. {Spoiler}Ryder won all matches.

If he's good enough to win the belt at Mania, isn't he good enough to have a reign? Taking the belt away so instantly, instead of actually running with the idea of an unlikely champion and telling the story of a loser making a comeback... They have a perfectly good narrative opportunity here, and they ditched it in favor of a guy who always has that "default" feeling as a midcard champion. The problem I have is that Ryder looks like he won the belt on a fluke, but then choked as soon as he had to face one of the "real stars" one on one. except he lost the belt in flukey fashion. As opposed to being straight up beaten, he lost via Distraction.

The problem I have is that Ryder looks like he won the belt on a fluke, but then choked as soon as he had to face one of the "real stars" one on one. I disagree. It wasn't like the Miz spot was the one thing he did in the match. He was an active competitor (When he did the elbow, I thought THAT was going to be his Mania moment and already felt great for him) and from bell-to-bell never looked weak or like an afterthought. We're almost two decades into seeing multi-man matches at Mania and year-in year-out we always get one guy with "no chance" in the mix. This year, that guy had a great showing and happened to win. Made him look great without looking like it was at the detriment of others. Miz goaded him into a match the next night that he needed shenanigans to win. I really don't think a 24-hour reign somehow undoes that significant profile raise that Ryder got in winning the match. He's now back in the mix with what's probably going to be remembered as one of the all-time feel-good moments at Mania, as well as increases the tension for future Manias as haha anything can happen in the WWF, King it will be more possible anyone can win those multi-matches.

Based on my rankings right now of the combined WWE/NXT men's roster, Ryder is ranked 15th with a 9-10-1 record for the year so far. Meanwhile Breeze is ranked 73rd and last with a 2-18-0 record.

He basically got Orton/Christian'd. And the fact that they used another of my faves to do it hurts even more.

I'd love to be proven wrong though! If I'm being perfectly honest I don't even think he's getting back on raw. LOW EXPECTATIONS ALL THE WAY THAT'S HOW TO SURVIVE IN THE WWE
