The first trailer was hype , this trailer was amazing.
Mighht be far reaching but IMO this will be the "superhero" movie of the year.

I don't know...the first trailer was intense, this trailer just felt cheesy..and dare I say, like an r-rated kid flick. The comic books did NOT help

Kinda confused as to what exactly the setting for this movie is.
the first trailer had more of a dystopia style to it... while the second looked much less so.
There being x-men comics in universe is pretty strange too...considering mutants in general not being held in high regard...

"X-men were once beloved and hailed as heroes by all but then humanity turned on them"

I'm sure part of the story is that basically between Apocalypse/the first 2 Singer flicks/The Wolverine and Logan, at some point the X-Men became a beloved superteam but then something happens that kills most mutants and turns the public against them and that's why things look to be pretty grim in this movie...

I actually really like the idea; sorta like kids wearing Che tshirts, or Marilyn Monroe merchandise without actually knowing much about the actual people.
If these characters existed, for sure they'd be being merchandised and misunderstood.
We've already seen Mystique as a pop culture icon in that universe.

I just don't think it really make sense for the X-men. Could they? I guess... but it still kinda goes against the overall idea of the mutants...
the Avengers having toys in the MCU makes sense since they are generally looked upon positively by the public.. (well when they aren't killing each other in the streets...) and are backed by Stark Industries.

See I can see it being a big 'counter culture' thing for outsiders and etc; or at least those that see themselves as such.

Definitely leaning towards skipping this until home release. Just not feeling it at all.

I need clarification on something, have the X-Men ever been referred as "X-Men" in any of the movies? (Deadpool doesn't count, he's a 4th wall breaker)
If not, then I'm fine with the comics, because then you could say all the real life mutants inspired a comic series of fictional mutants.

They refer to themselves as X-Men plenty of times in all of the movies, so it's safe to assume that it became their official name to the public. This was another really good trailer for this film. The Fox X-Universe has never been my cup of tea, but I can appreciate when they at least make a good movie. So far, this looks really strong as a film.

Looking forward to this very much. Possibly not Apocalypse timeline - Xavier is not completely bald.

So Fox didn't even know who X-23 was before filming starting Is that surprising? You're talking about a bunch of middle-aged rich guys who play golf and build ships in bottles for hobbies.

The comics thing is not a big deal..like, at all. And it's probably being employed to further illustrate the "fall" of the X-Men. However the hell they decide to portray that.
Still looks great to me. I've got faith in Hugh's final(?) outing but I am curious if they'll do Mr. Sinister justice.
