Wasnt Mr. Sinister teased at the end of the last movie? He was teased at teh end of Apocalypse yes. But that was probably for the next actual X-men movie and not Logan.

Wasnt Mr. Sinister teased at the end of the last movie? He was, which I believe was a setup for the next entry in the main series/first X-Force movie.

The comments section may killed a few of my brain cells... Well...as someone who hasn't watched Little Miss Sunshine since it first released on DVD, why in the world would you want to make a Wolverine film based on that? And comic movies being dark and grimy are nothing new at all and is one of the famous tropes in recent years. A lot people are sick of that sort of thing. Just ask Batman v Superman... This director is on some good grass.

This director is on some good grass. I'm pretttttttty sure they're comparing the structure of Little Miss Sunshine to the structure of Logan. A group of oddball people, one of them a socially awkward girl, on a road trip. The road trip aspect of Logan is mentioned a few times. And where do you see the director bringing up dark and grimy? He talks about making a scaled down superhero movie that more focuses on the characters and attempts to grip your heart that way.

I'm going to keep thinking Logan exists in the X3 / Wolverine timeline. It's established at the end of Wolverine that Xavier is alive, and after going through a movie as bad as X3, the world isn't going to be in a good place.

I think it is stll part of the timeline because the director never outright said it was non cannon but just wanted to set it so far into the future that it would not be beholden to what happened in the other movies.
I can see Cable in an after credits scene taking X23 with him to the past and they show up in deadpool 2 and thus how we get the eventual x-force movie.

I'm going to avoid as much news about this flick as possible, because for once a trailer for a movie like this really got me excited. Hope like hell they can pull it off, because this feels like the type of superhero movie I've been waiting for.

The early word is that it is good. Some say you could rank it right up there with X2 and DOFP
Reviews probably be out tomorrow

I've watched DOFP a couple times and I still think It's really good. Up there with Civil War simply because of its Star Power. I get why the studio was hesitant..and in fact I worry about how much it'll ultimately make being an R rated flick (and not having the comedic draw Deadpool had) but I'm pulling for it for trying something new.
