Any idea who the woman at the end was?
Does she have a comic-book equivalent?

Haha, of course Felicity knocks out Laurel. Well, the leaked script was completely true. Felicity was unbearable and by the end is once again the true hero of the show Laurel was just a villain of the week Laurel's getting replaced with a new Black Canary The sonic scream has previously f***ed up Flash but had zero effect on team Arrow. Adrian/Diggle was the only interesting thing in this episode They've completely ruined one of my favourite comicbook characters in Black Canary What a shit episode. I've only been keeping up with the show through this thread cause I completely checked out halfway through season 4, and I'm glad I did. Sorry you got your hopes up bud, unfortunately it looks like it's back to the same old

Something that I did not think of untill rewatching the episode and I am more than likely the only one with this but I think part of Prometheus end game is forming his own dark version of Team Arrow it just came to mind watching the promo for next week and realizing alot of this season are creating characters that parlel others.
Oliver and Prometheus Thea and Evelyn Black Siren and Tina Boland
And this is why I think Tina Boland will end up siding with Prometheus and Black Siren will make her face turn in time for seasons end to help Oliver.

The start of the season showed promise but this episode was like something out of season 4. Oh well.

This was a complete 180 from last week and another strong episode.
Is there any (non-storyline) reason why Paul Blackthorne and Willa Holland haven't been around lately?

No, I mean at the very end. Talia rescued Oliver in the flashback. The new girl is an original character. And she reminds me of Black Canary in All Star Batman and Robin. That's a bad thing. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} It turns out that the new character is NOT an original character. Instead, she is Dinah Drake.
Despite the fact that there already is a Dinah Drake. And that there are now three different characters who've been named f***ing Dinah in this stupid show.

Yeah, after all my complaining last week, this turned out to be a really good episode.
I'm assuming we'll see more of that hacker group down the road. Is Helix comic related?
I'm pretty sure I've said this before but I hate Curtis. His humour feels so forced.

Great episode especially after lastweeks near fall off a cliff.
But I do have inkling that a sort of swerve is coming...while they were searching for a replacement for the black canary and all signs point to her taking up the mantle I think she will be a member of the team but that black siren is still going to be the one to officially take up being the new black canary.

Another really good episode.
As big Black Canary fan, I'm really liking Dinah. It's sad to say but after only 2 episodes she feels more like comic Black Canary than Laurel ever did. Her conversation with Ollie in the van was great, especially her not putting up with his bullshit.
Shockingly enough, Felicity was pretty great in this episode. I'm interested to see where this story goes with her.
Also, Guggenheim said there is a whole episode dedicated to the flashbacks later in the season so that should be a lot of fun. They're easily the best flashbacks since season 2.

Speaking of the flashbacks, we should be getting near the end of them soon. They're sticking to the time Oliver was away (which is a nice touch, by the way; a lot of these things force more stuff despite the time not changing), so either this season or next should be the last of them.

I guess the other possibility is to flash back to other characters.

I'm going to guess that's the episode that reveals what is up with Susan. I don't think she's Prometheus (as evidenced by her not knowing that Oliver was Green Arrow), but I'm guessing she's related to or was in a serious relationship with somebody that Oliver and Anatoly killed, and she made a vow to bring them down. I don't think it's a simple story, this is personal for her.

I'm probably thinking way to hard about this but when Susan put 2 and 2 together and figured out Ollie's identity she was looking at a picture of the hood but called him Green Arrow.
The hood and Green Arrow are supposed to be, at least to the public, different people.
Am I missing something here?

Well technically the Hood/the Arrow are supposed to be dead, so I think the fact she has evidence he's not is being combined with the fact that the Green Arrow has the same MO. She basically put two and two together I'm guessing.

If you want an in universe answer, probably after Green Arrow killed Damien Darhk everyone went, "Hey waitaminute..."

I thought this was a great episode and they tackled the issue very well but I can see a lot of people not liking it.
Because of the rules, I'll leave it at that.
