I dig the heel turn. Probably not parmanent but I think they had to do something different what with Pauls untimely departure. So the franchise has one from Street Racing..to Heist Films...to what looks like a Spy film.

They've already scheduled 9 and 10. We're gonna end up seeing cars in space.

I forget which film it was (4?), but when Vin joined the writing team or whatever they became a lot more tongue in cheek and transparent about being ridiculous, and that's where I started to really appreciate them.

The heel turn is cool, but it's probably going to be that everyone is all in on it as a totally unrealistic heist.

I know I'm going to see this in the theatre. So, personally, I'm avoiding even trailers since films like this often put some of the big DAMN moments in the trailers. I want all the glory on the big screen.

Honestly, I'm not watching the trailers because I don't want the big crazy moments spoiled for me.

I know I'll see the movie opening weekend anyway so I don't need the trailers to sell me.

Justsaw it . Much much better than part 7 . The villan is suberb , Statham stole the show IMO

I understand Roman is the comedy relief ,, but dammit does he have to be so annoying . I really hated all his scenes . Also I understand they had to work with Shaw but why are him and Dom shaking hands at the end ? Did he forget about Han ? Would have a lot more impactful if they named the baby Paul

That was a hell of a lot of fun. I'd probably rank it 2nd behind Fast Five.

Little Nobody was a good addition, Eastwood and Tyrese played well off each other. He's not going to be able to completely replace Walker, but I'm all for him coming back.

Watched it last night, probably my favorite. The Scene from the trailer with The Rock and Statham is one of the greatest scenes of the series. Charlize Theron was also great in this movie. Also if you didn´t watch every single movie and enjoyed them, I think you will be a little lost in this movie. Probably the movie with the most references to the older ones.

That whole thing with Statham and "the package" was tremendous.

I saw it earlier. I had marathoned these movies before seeing it. I did the first two on Sunday, 4 and 5 on Monday, and 6 and 3 on Tuesday (Remember, Tokyo Drift supposedly took place after 6). I did 7 early this morning and then saw the new one later on. I had already bought my ticket in advance. If you think about it, I did a double feature on 7 and 8 today.

Anyway, as for the movie, I enjoyed it a lot. I actually had a blast with the opening race sequence and of course, the action sequences. Also, Charlize Theron was awesome as the villain. I will discuss a few spoilers.

I believe that the ending meant that Cipher will come back in 9. She escaped, so I think she will return.

I marked out when Luke Evans appeared as Owen Shaw. Same with Don Omar and Tego Calderon

I actually wonder if at the end when they have their barbecue in the patio in NYC, when Letty said "They will be here soon,"I wonder if she meant that Brian, Mia, and Jack will appear. Story-wise I mean.
