At the moment, a trailer teaser came out as the official trailer will go live this coming Sunday. Anyway, I can say that all over social media that people are complaining about the release of this because they feel that there are "too many" of the Fast & Furious films already. I can understand if they feel that it should have ended at 7, but then you have people saying that it should have ended at 1, 2, or 3. My favorite is the part about ending it at 1 because the perspectives vary on that one whether they think that the first film was the only good film and should have been a standalone film, or that one film was bad enough and there should never have been a franchise. It doesn't matter because the series is still going strong. I know that I had an on-and-off relationship with it, but the interest rekindled completely when I saw the fifth film. I'll still see it, as well as 9 and 10 when they come out. Vin Diesel had stated that the 10th film will be the last.

I'm sorry, for me anyways it's very hard to dislike this franchise. You can just tell these people really care for one another behind the scenes and the movies are always a good way to turn my brain off and have fun. Can't wait for the next film.

I'm going to get loaded, see it, and probably love it for exactly what it is. Nothing is as fun as trying to figure out if Vin is turning around in slow motion or if that is just the way he naturally moves. And the ridiculous action.

I still think 7 would have been the perfect way to end the franchise with the nice Paul Walker tribute at the end.
Still this is a guilty pleasure for me and even if the movie is stupid I just enjoy looking at the cars.
Hopefully some of which will show up later in a Forza Game.

I didn't like the earlier Fast and Furious films. Hated the focused racing aspect of it and didn't really get into the franchise until Fast 5 which moved away from the racing and became focus on the heist/over the top action fest that it is. It's a real throwback to the cheesy past action films with one-liners, over the top action, and a little to non-existent plot/development. They're just stupid fun films and Fast 5, Fast 6, and Furious 7 are just exciting, fun, and ridiculous films that you can't hate really. They're not trying to be some deep philosophical concept. That's really all I can ask for with films like this.
