Y'all must be some chiselled motherf***ers to be tossing them stones around. This thread was ripped straight from the bodybuilding.com forums.

Y'all must be some chiselled motherf***ers to be tossing them stones around. The inevitable response to that is 'well, we don't go out and show our bodies to crowds for money" which would be a fair response. Personally, I don't give a f*** what the man looks like. I'd love to see him back because he's one of my favourites. He's so different to what else is out there, and different is always desperately needed. Plus he's been tearing it up for God knows how long, dude deserves his shot as much, if not more, as anyone else.

Attire change that fitted a character he was to play and he'd be absolutely fine. Current attire at his current weight, highly doubt he'd appeal to the masses that is the WWE audience. Still trying to get where people think his weight would make him a WWE Fan turnoff when Kevin Owens is one of the most popular wrestlers on the planet right now.
Attire I can see where the argument lies, but we've seen so many other wrestlers in history that look way worse than Hero ever could. A lot of what WWE Fans care about is entertainment factor and the ability to put on a great match, look factors in but lumping the WWE Fanbase in one clump like some people seem to be doing in this thread is absurd.

Y'all must be some chiselled motherf***ers to be tossing them stones around. I don't have to be Prime Arnold to know when someone's look isn't good. My eyes work pretty well.

Hero criticising irresponsible journalism on Twitter. Don't know if that changes anything but he doesn't seem happy. Theory at other places seems to be that tweet was about the TMZ guy saying he'd be using the Kassius Ohno name and not Meltzer saying he'd be back since Hero and Meltzer are friends.

I PROMISE I WON'T MENTION A SINGLE PROPER NOUN PAST THIS POST REGARDING EVERYTHING AND WILL END BRANCH OF THE CONVO WITH THIS POST AND LET THAT BE IT BUT JUST TO HAVE IT OUT THERE: Stateside, there has been a big controversy surrounding journalism over the weekend, and Sunday it got to a fever pitch. When I first saw the tweet, I took it as referring to the current news. THAT'S IN DON'T RESPOND TO THIS POST NO POLITICAL DISCUSSION BUT I'M SPECULATING HERO'S TWEET HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH SPECULATION ABOUT HIS IN-RING WHEREABOUTS AT ALL CARRY ON.

Look if they hire him just to put him on NXT and screw with the Indies, I will be pissed. The guy is ready for the main roster.
Sign him a long deal, make him your top guy, let him win the Rumble and have Brock job to him at Mania. He's the guy WWE wants Reigns to be. Hero is a great talent, he has all the tools, stop putting barriers on talent. AJ Styles showed that if you give these guys a chance they will deliver.

Y'all must be some chiselled motherf***ers to be tossing them stones around. If anything, I could body double for Hero, doesn't mean I can't comment on his look, or the look of anybody on and off the WWE roster. I'm looking at you, Jack Gallagher. Get some damn knee pads, man!

I won't comment on Hero's look as, frankly, I don't give a shit. I mean, one of the most over guys on SmackDown Live right now is James Ellsworth, a guy who's built like an average guy. If you're entertaining to watch and can put on a good match, I don't care what you look like.
That said, good for Hero, if true. It didn't work out the first time for whatever reason, but hopefully it will this time.

It's only within the hardcore wrestle bubble where workrate trumps everything else. And WWE's current hiring practices.

These posts about Chris Hero's body being too disgusting to watch are a lot more fun if you imagine they're being posted by Rick Rude. "He's just gross to look at."

Yeah like i said, change his attire and it's fine (ala Owens). Don't change his attire, i don't think he'll be as successful as he would be otherwise. I agree, viewing the WWE audience having one opinion is absurd. There will be people that won't like him because of his look, there will be people that don't care about that at all. There will be people that won't like him because of his look though, more so then what most other wrestlers are effected by it. Fan of the guy, just how i see it going for him if he wrestles in the WWE skinny fat in trunks.

Honestly, thin or fat, he's very good in the ring.
However, unless The Golden Palomino was strutting behind him and talking him up, I never really cared for Chris Hero.

Couldn't Chris Hero's current look actually be a good thing for him? There have always been some good fat-asses in pro wrestling: Bam Bam Bigelow, Vader, The Dudleys, Samoa Joe, Earthquake, Typhoon, etc. I'm all for diversity in pro wrestling and fatass Chris Hero would actually add something.

I never thought they should have got rid of him in the first place so I'd be happy to see him back (not as a trainer please).
As for his size...at no point during his NXT run did I think his size was an issue, even his last match where they'd given up on him. He didn't have the best physique, but it seemed believable that he could compete, and aesthetically he didn't look too out of place.
Now? His look...isn't great. An attire change would be beneficial, but watching some of his recent work he hadn't lost his step in the ring.
