I figured Amazon to be more of a Link X Ruto website I was browsing a bunch of random Zelda art a week ago looking for some desktop backgrounds and maybe something neat to put in my digital picture frame rotation for March. I see "Link riding Epona" as a description. I'm all like "Hey, OoT was classic, this could be a good one!" No. No it wasn't. It was the opposite of whatever I thought I wanted to see. |

I've only recently decided to buy this I didn't pre-order cause I've never had an issue picking up games or systems on launch day and because I'm an idiot.I don't think it will be hard finding the console but I'm less positive of finding this game.

I've never been able to find a console on launch day without preordering it.
I've usually been good on games.
Hell when the Wii was sold out forever I still saw Twilight Princess for the Wii on all of the shelves.

I've never been able to find a console on launch day without preordering it. I've usually been good on games. Hell when the Wii was sold out forever I still saw Twilight Princess for the Wii on all of the shelves. On Wii launch day I bought 3 systems at the 1st store I went to and I wasn't even getting 1 for me.I picked them up for my niece,nephew and neighbors kid. |

Who else is spending tomorrow in the vicinity of their front door? My kids are hype to the point that the older two wanted the ups app on their tablets so they could track the two switches that are coming.

Just to give you a rough guide, the update that happens when you first put the disc in takes about twenty minutes. Not too bad but still annoys me that this backward step is now the norm.

I want to get excited for sites like IGN giving the game 10 out of 10, but they also gave Skyward Sword 10 out of 10 and that game was good at best. Needless to say I'm skeptical when it comes to reviews like this. let it be known that I hate you DiG at least for 24 hours or so >_> I've been staying away from digg and tumblr so I don't get things spoiled. So far so good, but I know the next 24 hours will be the real test. |

Gotta say, I'm not a Zelda fan but even I really want to play this.
Unfortunately, I have no intention of getting a Switch (and even if I did, I don't own a TV so console gaming just isn't happening for me) so that's probably not going to happen for a looooong time.

my eb games doesnt have a midnight release, but they are open at 8. I got friday and saturday completely off so its gonna be a good weekend

I've been playing it for four hours or so and it's easily the most difficult beginning of a Zelda game in ages. It's not unplayable hard but as you're so sparingly equipped at the start, it's pretty harsh in places.
I won't spoil anything but there's a moment a few hours in when you realise just how huge this game is.
