How the hell do you make a Venom movie without connecting it to Spider-Man?! Sony. Explains the rumor that Kate McKinnon will play literally every character in the movie. |

apparently the following folks are up for a part suspected to be Carnage. Riz Ahmed (Rogue One) Matt Smith (Doctor Who) Pedro Pascal (whose been in a bunch of stuff, Game of Thrones for one) Matthias Schoenaerts (A Belgian actor that I am not familiar with offhand) Not one of them is a ginger though shameful!  |

It's Sony, they will screw it up but a way to link to Spidey could be done by saying that the suit is made from the blood of Spider-Man. lol

Filming was original supposed to start early September...
it has now been pushed back to late October.

Sony's ability to make their own cinematic universe entirely depends on if the actually own the rights to what's easily the most marketable and bankable Marvel supervillain for a series of big name movies: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}  |

Michelle Williams apparently in talks for this one.
Between her and Tom Hardy - I mean, if the script's in English it's gonna be good.
Seriously though, Michelle Williams seems to be VERY selective about the roles she takes. If she does end up being on board for this one, that's a very good sign.

Have they explained how this is going to work without Pete coming into contact with the symbiote first? Or are we supposed to just forget about that important detail?
