Is there any wrestler not completely full of shit? They either pump up their own importance or blame everyone else for their failures.

Shawn Michaels criticising Shane Douglas for not wanting to wrestle at MSG due to injury.
This is the same guy who surrendered the WWF title after losing his smile.

Speaking of, reminds me that Michaels's book is a really awkward read for reasons like that. He's constantly owning up to his mistakes and asshole moments and stuff, only to immediately backpedal and go, "Yeah, but here's why it's okay..."

Vince making himself the small businessman vs evil monopolistic WCW takes the cake. VKM: I wanna buy you out. Promoter: "F*** you. I ain't selling!" (Vince signs away promoter's top talent and runs house show in promoter's home market 4 weeks later.)

Is No Mercy in Manchester on the Network? If not, we're missing one of the great heel lines of all time. Shane McMahon: And tonight, Kane, Mideon is going to give you the beating of your life! We replayed that bit to death as kids, laughing ourselves silly. That PPV is shit, but that line is hilarious. Indeed it is. As is Capital Carnage 98, containing Vince's line: "......England is a cesspool of decadence, a cesspool of decay and debauchery. A cesspool that in all probability will be governed by a Prime Minister of Pakistani extraction!!! I thank you very much!" He actually said that? Mother of God.

Wrestlemania 7 was moved to LA Memorial Sports Arena because of security and terrorist concerns over the Sergeant Slaughter character.
Staying at Wrestlemania 7, the 'True Story Of Wrestlemania' has some sort of claim that Hogan was done with the company and only wanted Slaughter brought back as there were no other opponents worthy of facing him.

Well, you never know, Sadiq Khan's mayor of London, Vince might eventually turn out to be right. I have to go and watch the reaction to that, really hoping it's a bit of booing since it's a heel talking, but loads of people just going "huh?"

The clip is expunged from YouTube, but I believe it's still in the Network version, and it's definitely in the OSW Review podcast of that show.

Bret's book about Wrestlemania 3 - the people went home talking about Hart Foundation vs the Bulldogs. Hogan and Andre sold the show but we stole it.
I like you Bret, but that's just asinine.

Of course that's not true. There wasn't a single mention of Detroit fans walking up to Bret with tears in their eyes and saying he put on the greatest six man tag of all time. That's how you know its a false story.

Jeff Jarrett when launching GFW said that there was a new wrestling boom...
If by boom he means running empty baseball fields and running a gold scam.

"During the Attitude Era, people that didn't even watch wrestling knew what a Steveweiser was" - Chris Jericho on some documentary Which would be crazy, given that Steveweiser was only an anonymous English schoolboy at that point.
