It's a possibility after all of this. I can't imagine Gedo likes hearing that Elgin is calling the shots around there. Also, as I said before, cheating is a big deal in Japan and has caused guys to lose pushes before and then getting tied to this sexual assault mess is even worse. Also making things worse is Elgin shittalking him and going on about how he's going to make sure New Japan doesn't book him again after this. Doubtful Gedo is going to look fondly on that. Yeah, I was alluding to that about him saying he calls the shots. At the very best for Elgin, Gedo now just completely ignores any input from Elgin on Cobb. The ironic part is Cobb could be the one to replace him and I think part of Elgin trash talking Cobb was insecurity and paranoia about losing his spot to him. Either way this proves Elgin isn't just a complete jerk, but an arrogant moron. On top of that, not being the most likeable person, because no one seems to have any problem at all throwing him under the bus. |

What's hurting Elgin is that the others heavily involved with Glory Pro, while not going into details, have flat out said what you've read online is exactly what happened. That's the surprising, and honestly refreshing part in all this. You would think the guys who took over Glory Pro would be chummy with Elgin and might be tempted to have Elgin's back and throw some "Well, there's two sides to this story" damage control bullshit at people. Nope, dudes come out and basically say "There's really a fire in this smoke." |

Well War Machine and Elgin/Cobb worked this into a match at New Japan where they were supposed to team. But while that was a work Rowe/Hansen/Cobb have all made it quite clear on social media there is legit beef
