So Observor saying Elgin got a new two year deal with njpw, and I havd heard hes suing the accuser. This kind of cheapens NjPW for me. The DMs are out there, but people dont seem to care. Not to mention, I find Elgin to be kind of boring, anyway.

It's surprising that New Japan would want to deal with him after this, more due to him admittedly not liking his tag partner and trying to sabotage him coming back. Also, I thought they had a strong stance on cheating since it's very taboo in Japan. But then again with incidents in the past, they seemed to just push them down the card and it seems like Elgin has been pushed down with having to work with Iizuka. Although I will say from the DMs I read, while they certainly make Elgin look like a complete dick, they don't really prove Elgin was involved in a rape cover up. He never admitted it and said all his friend did was ask her to sleep with him and she said no with nothing happening afterwards. Who knows, she could just be some physco girl that wants him to leave his wife for her and when he said no she snapped. But either way, it's hard to tell. Also, he might have a case here in a civil suit as the release of the DMs cost him bookings.

I need to see that and the stupid look on his face. That was awkward and he deserved every bit of it. I've never seen something like that. He didn't even got the sympathy pop for doing spots, every bit of offense he did got booed. This was another type of heat, I'm gonna call it the hate heat. This Hate Heat is beyond go away heat, this is we know what you did in real life, we know it and you're not wanted here and we'll do our best so that you will never make another penny in wrestling again.

Half the crowd turned their back on his match tonight Wow, that wasn't going to happen in Dayton because people still wanted to see Naito. Who did he face?

Yeah it was nuts. I was on the opposite end, 5 rows back. A lot of nasty things shouted at Elgin. The booing was so loud during his introduction I couldn't hear it at all. Gotta say, kind of sucks this is overshadowing the entire show. This was an amazing show and it was incredible to see Naito in such a small venue putting on an actual match and not just "going through" the motions. The rest of the show was really entertaining as well and I have to tip my hat to Sami Callihan for putting it together.

Wouldn't be surprised if him and Juice Robinson essentially switch places.

Surprised they actually signed him again as it looked like they were sort of phasing him out with him basically only being in multiman matches over the past few months, his only singles was against Kitamura.
Suing the accuser is going to rightfully or not get him a lot of heat but the only shot he has of getting his career back is proving some how in a court of law that she has been lying. Its obviously not going to work but its either go though with this or find another profession

Elgin is absolutely guilty of being an asshole. But time will tell what the court thinks about what she has done to harm his ability to make a living in his profession. It's important to clarify, also, that she never said she was raped. It was a former boyfriend who wanted to hook up when she didn't. She said he ended up leaving after she said no. That guy didn't rape her, and neither did Elgin. She never claimed it. She got angry when Elgin didn't punish the guy, and was unsympathetic to her as well. Again, guilty of being a jerk, yes. I don't want to watch Elgin wrestle, myself. But she may have taken things too far as far as the continued social media barrage about the situation, which has a lot of inconsistencies as far as her story is concerned. If I had to make a prediction, it will end in her owing him some money for lost wages when all is said and done. I think that everyone involved in the situation are people I would never want to be around or associate with.
