There is no way that Daniel Bryan will get over as a heel. They tried him as a heel in the past and the fans kept cheering him. If they try to turn him heel in order to minimize his fan appeal after he leaves, it's going to backfire because the fans won't allow that to happen and they'll keep cheering him. Turning a guy heel after he was by far the most over babyface in the company doesn't usually work.

This reminds me of Foley's book where he discussed leaving WCW and how Flair and Co. turned him heel against Kevin Sullivan on the way out to lessen his value in ECW and the indies. Of course no one cared because Sullivan was hardly an over babyface and Foley did nothing out of character and this meant nothing. Same deal with Bryan here. If they seriously try to turn him it will mean nothing.

It's time for Shane to stop trying to use talent to put himself over. It's beyond pathetic and nothing impresses me about 2018 Shane McMahon.

They could have Daniel Bryan pledge his allegiance to Isis and the fans still wouldn’t boo him.

Bryan could murder a kitten and still be cheered. Turning him heel won't work.

If this is true, a few things:
Please move AJ Styles to Raw to keep him as far away from this as humanly possible.
This is beyond dumb
Nobody cares what happens when someone is on their way out. Is Jericho’s New Japan work affected right now by people saying “wait- he was a babyface in WWE when we last saw him, these appearances are a sham”- it really isn’t.
If WWE really believes the guy can’t wrestle and can’t clear him for either legal or moral reasons, just say that. Don’t jack around with him on TV to bring him down which will only result in harming the other people associated with the angle.

You think turning Bryan heel will hurt his career?
Turning him heel is what got him over in the first place lmao.

The odds of WWE casuals following him to another promotion are slim anyway. Anywhere else he goes, he'll be wrestling for hardcore fans who don't care about WWE booking in the first place.

Bryan would have that Angle vs Cena thing where he's a "heel", but not to most of the people watching

I don't know about that. I wouldn't say I'm a hardcore fan (I only watch WWE product) but if Bryan went somewhere else I'd check it out purely because it's Bryan.

If he left as an epic heel, would that not make fans at least as interested in what he does afterwards?......
