Saw this before I went to bed but forgot to post so I'm glad you posted it. On one hand I agree that yeah Bryan is a family man and his health is most important. On the other hand the part of me wonders how much this is Trips speaking and how much of this is Vince's son speaking.

HHH is right. Not worth the risk to WWE.

On the other hand the part of me wonders how much this is Trips speaking and how much of this is Vince's son speaking. A little bit of both more than likely. As in ring competitor and someone who had their career threatened I’m sure HHH feels for him but obviously there’s a big difference between knee and brain injuries However, on the corporate side you can’t let a man who’s openly stated he’s lied about his injuries as well as been diagnosed with brain injuries get back in the ring and have something potentially happen to him. WWE can’t tell Daniel to sign a waiver and wash their hands with it because they will get massacred knowing putting him out there was wrong in the first place. If Daniel wrestles again it won’t be in there company and they are fine with that because they are not budging on their corporate side of things.

The way the question seems to be phrased is whether there would be an exception made for Bryan to wrestle, and he almost has to say no to that question. I still wonder whether he has been cleared and is gearing up for a Mania match however.

If he doesn't get cleared, I think NJPW World will have a hell of a lot of new subscribers come this time next year.

The thread title and question HHH was asked don't correlate.
The question asked is if an exception for Bryan would be made. So that's the question answered. He vaguely comments on Bryan coming back, it's not really what he's talking about.

But Dr. Maroon is the one not budging.

No exceptions! Except Angle I don't think Angle was exempted from WWE's medical testing. He also wasn't in the E for baseline concussion testing to determine whether he's "back to normal" or has lost any brain functionality.

Mixed feeling about this statement. I'm sure Triple H personally likes Bryan. He put him over at WM and Bryan is employed to do basically nothing and collect a nice paycheck out of it.
On the other hand the WWE's top doctor is a snake oil salesmen of the medical world and his findings are (apparently) going against the findings of several of Bryan's personal doctors. Key word though: 'personal'. Personal doctors have been willing the bend the rules and tread fine lines for their patients before so it's hard to know who to really believe in all of this.
Triple H is also right about one more thing, Bryan has a wife and a kid and I feel like that was Paul Levesque talking to Bryan Danielson.
EDIT: based on the replies I received, I stand corrected about my last statement regarding an on-air seizure and I am retracting that sentence.

No exceptions! Except Angle The lawsuit is about concussions, not jacked-up necks.

WWE doesn't have to let him wrestle, but likewise he doesn't have to take the advice of WWE doctors or other WWE employees or armchair wrestlers on message boards. Bryan is more than likely going to wrestle again, it's just not going to be for WWE.
It's his life and his choice. Everyone takes a risk when they wrestle or take part in any other contact sport, regardless of injury history. No one should scream foul when ROH or NJPW or any other company decides to let him do what he loves and wrestle for them.
