Or maybe the dirtsheets confused out of the Rumble for out for good. That's the prevailing thought on Twitter anyway.

I think something is definitely up with her. I get the feeling that they're just slowly phasing her out instead of dropping her out of the show cold.
Maybe in the meantime seeing if there's anything they can do with her condition.

Maybe in the meantime seeing if there's anything they can do with her condition. Well they obviously need her right now to help Absolution get over as heels. If they give Paige a segment to announce her retirement, she'll instantly be a babyface through crowd sympathy alone. In the meantime I think the most logical course is to transition her into a manager role while her options are explored.

With all due respect pal, Meltzer was the one that said oh she's done for sure, and then Raw tonight gives us something totally different. Sorry, but I'm not buying him on this anymore.

RAW didn't give us anything different, she's out with a neck injury. They just didn't give anything concrete on the retirement and might not until after the Rumble due to the fact she's the current head of a faction.

She'll manage Absolution, they might bring up someone from NXT to replace her and carry the slack in the ring and once Absolution is over and done with then she'll just be done. She might manage, she might become a trainer, she might become a commentator but the WWE won't want her to wrestle again. She already has a bad spine so this was a matter of when not if once she returned from a neck injury.

Didnt Madison Carter told you to back off this thread? I swear after all your bliss stuff and now with Paige you are either a troll trying to stirr arguments or a very obsessed fan, sorry to say this but your posts have been annoying as of late

Meltzer didn't just hear "Oh yeah she's hurt" and turn that into "the company wants her to retire". Anything he's hearing is from his sources inside the company and 'the prevailing thought of twitter' is a bunch of randos who don't have any connections to the story or the company and are just speculating blindly.

Let me make it clear, I only posted in this thread because of what happened with Paige on Raw. I was expecting a retirement speech, instead we got business as usual, with her managing Absolution. I was NEVER intending to cause trouble and I hope all of you understand that. I just wanted to peacefully discuss an unexpected twist in this saga.

Then stop vehemently denying Paige won't retire when people are presenting stuff from legitimate sources that suggest this might just be a delay of the inevitable I get it, you like Paige, a lot of us really like Paige, and don't want to see her career end, but denial doesn't help a thread nor a state of mind. It's just not looking good.

This thread took a Paige-turner for the worst.

This is exactly what I've been trying to explain in you in private. You are officially no longer allowed to post in this thread, and refusal to follow that will result in a suspension. And do not take this to other threads, either.

Likely they either told her she couldn't wrestle anymore, but maybe things have changed since then, that they're going to see how this injury goes until they make a final decision. If they were forcing her to retire, they would be cut and dry about it.

If they were forcing her to retire, they would be cut and dry about it. I mean, they'd have to be with shareholders and the like. I'm sure it's not a good look if you don't even acknowledge somewhat that an employee's retiring due to injury. Seems to be at least the reason why some retirements are done by the person themselves most of the time.

She'll retire quietly without a major announcement on RAW, ala Christian, as I suggested in the RAW thread.

Sounds like a Bryan situation again where they have Bryan sitting out until retirement but they know he's done.
