After seeing her last match, I'm not sure I'd want to see her wrestle again even if she was technically cleared. Watching her try to get her legs under her was frightening.

I don't get it. Paige has already had multiple injuries related to her wrestling career and now we get these comments from multiple sources related to her. Given the type of injuries she's had in the past and now this it's best to have her retire otherwise the next time she gets injured it could be worse. This isn't a case of her not having injuries, it's happened multiple times. Yeah, the idea is to get out before you end up like Tyson Kidd at best, or Misawa in a worse case scenario. It's sucks that Paige has to retire on the same week as Mark Henry, despite a 20+ year gap in age, and just missing out on that Women's Royal Rumble match as well. But it's just better than the potential (and inevitable) alternatives.Yeah, no matter whether I enjoy watching somebody wrestle or not, I'd prefer WWE's medical team to be overly cautious (not saying that's the case here) than to see them let the person carry on and they have a life changing injury (or worse) in the ring that could have been avoided.

So shes only three years off the age AJ Lee retired, and that said both Trish and Lita retired at 30. Considering she has been doing it longer than any of those women did, I would imagine its better for the sake of health too retire. Sad as it is. I am sure they will find her another role though, She is contracted until 2019 I believe. She is a great ambassador for the company in the sense she had a very outgoing and likeable personality.

That's basically how I feel with regards to Bryan. Even if he's cleared, the last memory of his last match was him convulsing on the ground.

Guess they're writing tomorrow's Raw to give Paige the final 20 minutes. Damn that's sad. Glad she's lived her dream.

Yeah, that seems pretty damn definitive. Definitive of what? It's too ambiguous to me. I'm not gonna bother saying she's not done anymore, that gets me nowhere, but I don't get the symbolism of the picture. Someone explain?

Yeah it's like the first thing she's posted in awhile and there's no caption. That along with the rumors puts a pretty good idea of what is coming.

I don't really think she should give a big retirement speech if she's going to stay involved as the leader of a heel stable. Considering her neck issues, I really doubt she’ll be allowed to travel that much and it’d be more risky than not to have her be at ringside at all. Especially if she has the same issues as Edge and Austin did.

As best I know, Edge and Austin don't have any limitations traveling. Austin has been physical on many occasions since his retirement too, and had weekly television roles as a GM type as well. Maybe you're right but I don't see that as a certainty. I think Paige could make a good heel mouthpiece/manager for Rose and Deville, who have a lot of potential.

I really figure regardless of if they intend to keep using her or not she'll probably be getting some time off to get her head on straight over it. I doubt they'd just instantly move her over into being a manager like nothing happened.

For someone that has already missed so much time recently and seemed to be having some dependency issues when out injured and not working, I think having her stay in her role as leader of Absolution is exactly what should be done.
